Did you reinstall the nvidia drivers or let windows 10 do it for you? Reboot didn't work.
I was using 353.49 before upgrading. Now, it's 353.62 so Windows 10 must have updated it.

Hard to tell because it's an SSD but my 2nd HDD I have in an enclosure is still running.
thos are the tools to download and create the iso.
Burn it, put the dvd with Windows 7 or 8 running and it upgrades the system to Windows 10.
YOu can also use the iso to perform a clean install.
No, I'm on X79 and a clean install automatically installed all drivers except wifi and Bluetooth.

Try updating drivers through windows update to 353.62 Nvidia drivers.
When i installed Windows 10 i guess i had old drivers, i didnt check which version they were but my Control Panel wouldnt open, when i finally got the latest drivers it started working again.
I dont know if its Win 10 or Nvidia fucking around.

Yeah, it was all messed up for me because apparently Windows auto update drivers so some bad driver was installed over nvidia's. Trying to install a updated fix driver failed so I used Display Driver Uninstaller to remove nvidia drivers, and reinstalled with the new fix.

used the tool to force the update, took over 1 hour, and its slow. reset my display setting and can't even find nVidia control panel to sort it out. This system display does not have 1080p
Update says I'm up to date. First thing I tried.
I'm on 353.62
Weirdly enough, GeForce Experience works just fine. But no control panel.
Give it a moment and Windows will automatically install an nvidia driver. You'll pop back to your previous Nvidia settings. Worked for me, but still no control panel.

Forced the update with media tool. No idea why I'm so eager to do this. 
Anyway, using a USB flash drive boot method worked perfectly. 10 is installed and after one more restart, everything seems to be working great.
Will try out some games tomorrow and see what happens.

you must first upgrade windows 7/8/8.1 to 10 on first attempt. this must be done so windows can covert your key as part of the free win 10 offer for the first year. then if you choose to clean install i believe your key is tied to your ms account, where it will activate once you sign in

Done installing. So far I'm extremely pleased. I might even use Edge as my default browser now. I really like that it comes with a "dark" theme.
Nvidia drivers were broken on my upgrade. I had no acceleration on first boot up. Noticed in uninstall programs menu that the win 7 drivers were still installed. Couldn't uninstall then either. Tried to get new drivers from Nvidia website but it said newer drivers were installed. Then I notice windows update failed to install Nvidia drivers. A few reboots later and check for updates it installs from windows update.
On fresh install a driver is installed but I have no control panel or GeForce experience menus. Will investigate.

I used the tipp from reddit to start the update, its downloading now, will report back if it actually updates. (Germany btw)
I just did a CLEAN install of 353.62 via the custom option on the installer and it brought back my control panel.
Denmark here. The auto-upgrade program didn't do anything new. I just went into Windows Update and launched the install.
Yeah it was 2am so I stopped at this point, will try clean install with latest drivers from the web.

Nvidia messed up the driver versions. Somehow they named them in a way that forced win 10 to install older drivers instead of newer. People had problems with resolution and 2nd monitor's because of this. But by now new drivers should be up and win 10 should install them automatically,but they only take effect after a reboot.
Windows did this for me but they were messed up. I highly recommend downloading 353.62 for anyone after the upgrade to 10 and using the clean install option, just to be sure.

Where are people getting 353.62 drivers from NVIDIA? The latest for me is 353.30
Wow. Just went onto Guild Wars 2 with Windows 10 to test out the recording and screenshot capture. I'm really impressed with how easy it is.
All I need to see is an update that adds streaming (unless it's already in there? Didn't see it), and it would be awesome. Hate having to use 3rd party programs.

ok so it seems like the windows update work. i had to search for it and it had my driver. seems like its 1080p. for those with issues about the display, check windows update
I'm rocking dedicated sound cards on both my machines for dolby live so I will be waiting.
If you have specialised hardware of any kind i would recommend researching whether there have been any drivers made available for 10 and how stable they are.
If you use one of these soundcards and uni xonar
Asus Xonar: DG, DGX, DG SI, DS, DSX, D1, D2, DX, D2X, HDAV, HDAV Slim, ST, STX, Xense, STX II.

Yup, same here (Sweden). Had to install an update from yesterday, after that the option to upgrade to W10 was in Windows Update. Took approx. 1,5 h for an upgrade.

tried mounting the .iso and installing that way, but the cd key for my OEM windows 8.1 [came with my new PC] isn't working... :/
I believe you have to set her up, give her permission if you didn't already during the install, and have a mic. Don't think she talks at all unless you've done that.

Just upgraded. Was really easy, only took about 40 minutes. Everything seems to be working so far. 
Still stuck. :/
I got fed up with that after 45min and rebooted. It went to the next step after that, though another poster seems to have waited longer and it finished by itself. =/

Of course not. First your win 8.1 key has to be changed into a win 10 key. For this to happen you need to upgrade win 8.1 to win 10. And only now you can do a fresh install (reset) from win 10.
Your win 10 key should be now linked with your Microsoft account and win 10 should be able to get it automatically. BUT I wasn't able to check that myself so this might be false.
I managed to get her to say that she thought John was nice for a biologically augmented super soldier.
