Has anyone gotten the Telltale Sam & Max games to work on Windows 10? I want to finish playing Season 2 and hopefully move onto Season 3 but at least in Windows 10, none of the episodes seem to be working. I receive an error stating "SamMax204.exe has stopped working." I tried running as an Administrator and running in various Windows compatibility modes.
I asked in the Telltale Support Center and they advised that they do not support Windows 10 as of yet (which I can't really blame them for, considering), but they gave me advice from what other users have reported. Unfortunately, the advice did not work for me, but I will post it below in case is works for anyone else:

First, please install and run the DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer from the following link to ensure DirectX is updated to the latest version.

After it has finished running, launch the game and see if it loads as intended. If not, you may need to change the systems resolution to better match the games resolution. Please try the steps in the following article to change your resolution to 1280x720:

If this still does not allow the game to launch, you can also try downloading older drivers for your graphics card. Here is what one user reported to us that allowed him to launch the game successfully:
I decided to try installing some early Windows 8.1 Nvidia drivers (January) instead of any Windows 10 Nvidia drivers and the game seems to work. This would seem to indicate an issue with either the drivers or perhaps DirectX 12 (or perhaps a certain call from the game that DX 12 doesn't like).
