Okay, now we are getting schooled, there was no pressure on that.

Considering we have to rebuild our defense from the ground up maybe this isn't unexpected...

Damn, fucking Dunga should have brought these players to the Cup.

It wouldn't fit with his European style of play.

Man....After an exhilarating initial 15 minutes for the USA, it's been ALL Brazil. We keep on dropping off deep...what are we doing?

Only Bocanegra will not be in 2014. Bornstein, Spector will still be in our defense mix. This is a defense that should be doing better.

But it's not just the defense...our midfielders aren't doing the work, keeping the ball, providing service for Donovan and Buddle up front. They keep on losing the ball!

You guys are getting creamed :D

Also, this goes to show that Dunga left too much talent behind due to his stubborn attitude. We could have the cup :(

The first half was just a setup for the coming 3 goal explosion.

:(

On the bright side... Brazil has a lot to look forward to in upcoming tournaments. Fun team to watch.

Yeah but Omar Gonzalez is making his debut and even Bornstein and Spector are still works in progress.

Wow...we're luck its not 3-0, yet/

Well, there was the early penalty. But then it could easily be 4 or 5 to 1.

So what's the answer? Is it time to join the rest of the world and abandon the 442?

Apparently the Bob Bradley to Aston Villa talk came from the US, and Harkes' sources over there said his name had not been mentioned. This egg we're laying after a strong initial 15 minutes can't be helping his chances...

Well...Bornstein played like what, 3 of the 4 World Cup games? And Spector played regularly for West Ham and IIRC (I might be wrong) played a big part in the Confederations Cup...these two shouldn't be THAT much of a Work in Progress.

Guzan is having a decent game (with a healthy dose of luck).

As for the formation change...probably, but overall, our midfielders just need to hold the ball longer than 5 freaking seconds, play it at OUR own pace, rather than the opponent's pace, and be able to bring it forward. Kljestan, since coming on, has what, turned over what, 2-3 balls already? When your whole team is pushing forward, this isn't the way to go!
