I don't think this debate will be watched much or matter much. Nobody really cares about these issues, this seems to be a purely domestic issue based election.

Some people were actually excited over Schieffer moderating. I have no idea why. He's a nice guy, but probably the most sofball non-Fox News pundit on the Sunday talk show circuit.

As an Israeli I hate the fact that we are somehow a part of this.
It's mostly because of our dumbass Prime Minister.

Moderators aren't supposed to be aggressive either. Their role is to keep time in check and keep the thing going. None have done a good job.

Not hyped for this at all. In theory, Bams should have the upper hand, what with y'know his actual experience as POTUS, but it doesn't feel like a strong performance from him will matter at all.

The odds are stacked in Mittens' corner tonight, no doubt.

God help this debate if he doesn't.

I dunno...if the moderator asks romney hard questions it might appear to low educated voters (i.e. most voters) that Obama and the liberal media are "ganging up" on Romney and playing in obamas favor. A narrative that Fox news and rush limbaugh will be more than happy to run with to unite the base. It's a double-edged sword

The base are going to vote for Romney either way, as liberals for Obama. These debates are ultimately for the undecided voters. It doesn't matter what Rush or Chris Matthews thinks

Just keep it fair, it isn't the moderator's job to do anything other than keep them on-topic and on-time. I wish they would get a beep after 2 minutes, and mics off at 2:05. Both candidates have no regard for the time and it irks me to hell and back.

he doesn't even need to ask questions. He just needs to make sure they say about the same amount of words.

Man, I get all anxious and nervous before a debate. Even tests in my college classes don't make me anxious. What is wrong with me.

I got my BA from Lynn University, I have no idea why the debate is being held there other than the fact a fair portion of its student body are disgustingly wealthy. Pretty small and insignificant campus with a lot of useless faculty and braindead student body.

Here's a question: What if Romney is the one who says "Proceed, governor" this time?

Foreign policy is not Romneys strength, he could step into a lot of blunders. For example if he confuses Lebanon with Libya. ;-)

In my opinion these are the key swing states: Iowa, Wisconsin and Ohio. If Obama wins all of them, he will win the election.

For us in Gemany it's not so important whether Obama or Romney wins, I guess chancellor Merkel liked Bush more than Obama. But I think for most people in the USA it would be better if Obama can proceed with his politics. He should reverse the Bush tax cuts and invest it in schools and scholarships.

Without a majority in the House of Representatives and Senate, Obama could quickly become a lame duck. A little more willingness to compromise would certainly be desirable due to the problems the country is facing.

As a non-American, I care - especially when foreign policy of a powerful nation will affect issues globally.

And you should care too.

I think what he means is the average American only cares about domestic issues and the fact football, among other sports are on the same time tonight people won't tune in to watch because they could not care less about foreign policy.

That is what the gun with the single bullet they provide is for.

Oh yeah, but it's a shame though.

I can understand why an American voter might not have the same interest as I would, where I see it as the most interesting debate by far.

I think they got the only informed undecided voters in America for the second debate.
They all sounded like disappointed Obama voters tbh
