Nuclear submarines didn't exist. They do now. Aircraft carriers were literally a fantasy in 1917.

well, he was wrong about that. but it seemed to me that obama claimed mitt would have had them fend for themselves and if there is no more US auto industry that would have been just fine by mitt. i thought it was a little disingenuous since the actual op-ed is more nuanced than that.

this wasnt brought up in the debate, but it really bothers me that detroit had to crawl on their hands and knees for $25 billion while the banks were basically able to write their own checks for orders of magnitude more than that.
