Valkyria Chronicles for PC [Nov 11, £14/20/$20, has all DLC, 60fps/1080p+, $14 GMG]

Capcom has been doing pretty damn good lately. We had an excellent port of RE4 this year and REmake release in early 2015.

I talk to their community manager on occasion and he always discusses the financials and pitfals to respective ports. They are always interested in doing goodwill projects such as these, but it generally comes down to funds and timing. Capcom prefers to use internal studios for new, more lucrative projects, and contract out to other studios for these older ports.
Just give it all to QLOC, no worries :p

Hit "Continue" and it shows the price is $14.04. I think something is breaking on GMG's end when it comes to the vouchers.

Got my preorder in. Can't believe how big this thread has gotten. Hopefully Valkyria Chronicles pulls in enough numbers to get 2 and 3 ported over. Never got a chance to play 3 and would love the opportunity.

This saddens me greatly :-\

Scored it for 11.99.

I'm going to consider buying more copies when finances are better. For now, double dip confirmed.
How did u get it for $12?

I have the ps3 plugged in and the game right here! But I'm going to support sega on this one and get it!!

Everything here shows segas decisions were based on gamers!

Bought.

I will happily rebuy every Platinum game and nearly every Atlus game, Sega. Just so you know.

And Yakuza. And Skies of Arcadia. And and just port everything already!

I'm actually impressed with its current position on the Top Sellers list. One of my top concerns (now that we know the game is PC-ready) is that this game sends a strong message from PC users.

I got a 25% voucher when I bought Arkham Origins from GMG earlier in the week, so I managed to get it for £10.12, never had a playstation but I always wanted to play this because the setting is just right up my alley

I would still love to play VC3.

The fan translation is pretty good and the game runs well on the PPSSPP emulator. If you don't have a PSP with custom firmware to rip the UMD version, you can buy the game from the Japanese PSN store and download to your PC with Media Go, then convert the file to an ISO for the patch.

With this announcement it might be worth waiting to see if we get an official translation for PC, but if not then it's well worth the hassle of the fan translated version. If only the cutscenes were done in VC1 style and some of the padding was cut out, I think VC3 would be the best in the series. The graphics aren't even that bad when rendered in high resolution with texture upscaling on the emulator.

You should subtly mention Dragon's Dogma PC to him now and then. Like: "DRAGON'S DOGMA PC PLZ! Uh, I mean, hi."

Hell yeah! I'm going to buy this for me and then gift a friend another copy so I can have the excuse to buy it twice.

It'll be my first time playing it, always heard good things about the game. Can't wait :D

Just bought it. Going to be my first time playing a VC game. November 11 can't come soon enough. (1 week, 4 days, 18 hours.....come on!)

Also just to keep people's expectations in perspective, the game is basically a launch ps3 game and barely looks better than some latter ps2 games!

The magnificent art style is the Wind Waker of its generation. While other games have aged badly, VC still remains superb in its appearance.

I was about to say it looks pretty great to this day. There is some noticeable blurriness that is part of the art style but tempered in the PC screens. Aliasing seems to have been the most glaring issue and that appears sorted in the PC version.

Okami is another game with the same issues as this game but otherwise has aged brilliantly, except for the lack of a PC version of course.

I'm going to get this anyway to support it but with those specs should my Asus t100 tablet be able to run this? I can play AoM enhanced, Baldurs Gate 2 enhanced and have been able to run X-com Enemy unknown at an ok fps.

Well, it's Top #13 again. That Top 20 battle must be some massive carnage... and a non-stop paycheck for Gaben & co.

Not sure anything can dethrone Farming Simulator 15 right now. Seeing a DLC (Europa Universalis IV) as the top #1 is quite something as well. I guess at least the list is diverse as hell.

Vanquish next, Sega, pls. Also, Resonance of Fate was in the petition, right? What else could be in there? Hatsune Miku? Can you imagine HATSUNE MIKU popping out of the blue on Steam? I don't think the servers would hold. Most played game on Steam, dethroning everything but DOTA2.

Resonance of Fate was mentioned in the petition. We also need Bayonetta.

Isn't Okami 1080p on the PS3 with some insanely good AA solution?
