They dont respect the original, that and the original darth vader arent their, hell not even the classic voice. FUCK they screwed this picture up. I demand a reshoot. And that is are little anakin. He has grown up.

Took me awhile to place Anakin's mother...and yeah, Jake Lloyd is 15 going on 16 right now, but it's still hard to imagine that he's aged that much in 6 years.

heh you know I still have a polybagged copy of the Episode I issue of Vanity Fair which was the first time the new cast was seen in costume and the first official images of Jar Jar.

It's sort of sad how they have Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, and Carrie Fisher off to the side.

My ideal Star Wars cast picture would have Admiral Ackbar trying to shove Jar-Jar Stinks into a blender. And Jake Lloyd's head would be resting underneath someone's chair. And they wouldn't even have to actually cut his head off. They could even do that with digital trickery, right? Either way.

Seems more sad that they wouldn't let Peter Mayhew pose sans makeup....not sure if that's him in the actual Chewbacca getup, but they should give the masked performers a bit more of a chance to be seen.

Well, it's a four page gatefold cover and I can see what they were doing. As you unfold it, it goes backwards from the new cast all the way back to the original.

And you know, the more people complain about Jar Jar the more Lucas will keep pushing him forward. In fact, just for this thread I reckon he'll add another 10 mins of Jar Jar to Episode III.

Okay, I get what they were trying to do with the photoshop of Ghost Alec Guinness, but now that I look at it, it almost seems kinda mean-spirited.

Poor Mark Hamill. He hasn't aged too well I don't think. Harrison Ford, I don't like him near as much as I used to for several reasons, but boy, he looks haggard. And I wish Billy Dee Williams still did stuff. I guess maybe he does, but I haven't seen it.

And they must have given Christopher Lee a low-sitting chair for him to look shorter than Lucas sitting down. :p

A nice photo though.

I've seen it on E! Channel.
Most of them where on a different location, and it was photoshopped to look like they were all there.

I think it's fine that mark hamill, harrison ford and carrie fisher are to the complete right, while hayden, portman and mcgregor are to the right. It's very full circleish.

As for Jimmy Smits? Why the hell is he there? He probabaly only has a couple scenes.

And they should have hid Jar Jar in the back somewhere.

Considering that he is the one most influential in setting up events of the original trilogy (
Transferring Leia to...yeah, I don't know it's name, go me
), it's likely a little transition thingy.

I like how Billy Dee is basically in costume there -- the black and the overcoat totally looks like Lando's "fringe-respectable" sort of gear.

And yes, that picture really needs some Wedge Antilles action. I mean, he only survived both Death Star runs. Not like he mattered or anything :-(
