Doom 3 was an interesting game upon its release...it was unlike Doom and Doom 2....and when you get to Doom 2016 the franchise changed itself entirely again and kept it up with Doom Eternal and Doom: The Dark Ages!
But a team of Doom 3 modders came up with Doom 3: Phobos, a brand new story in the Doom universe and IMO...did a better job with storytelling and combat than ID ever did! and the best part...its free! Horror gaming done right in October!
