Visual Concepts and the handheld market

Would anybody else like to see VC make games for the DS and PSP? I feell EA has got lazy with there GBA and DS games because they have previous graphic engines to work with. Hell Madden 2005 for the DS is the GBA game with a N64 graphics engine. VC would be starting from and could accomplish the following:

1. Really utilize the hardware and push it farther than EA
2. Give EA some competition so they rethink there handheld strategy.

We all have seen from previous and current generations that EA only works hard when they are pushed by another development team. I for one would love to see ESPN NFL 2k6 announced for the DS and PSP this fall.

I enjoy playing sports games on my handhelds. I'm especially interested in the fact that the PSP game saves are suppose to be compatible with the PS2s. It would be awesome to take my Madden/ESPN franchises on the road with me.

If that could be done and the hand helds played just as good then consider me sold!!!

From what I've seen off the PSP so far I have no reason to believe that Madden 2006 won't play as well as its PS2 counterpart.

I think the PSP will be the first handheld that will make the traditional sports sim worth playing. If EA keeps releasing skin versions without franchise, etc. I will hate them forever.
