Now that interest me. I love unlikable protagonists

I might play Chaos,Head this year but if I enjoy Chao;Head, I'll most likely play through Chaos;Child this year too

I'll be playing the rest of the Science Adventure Series for next year but for the Stein;Gate VNs, I'll wait on playing them until Stein;Gate Reboot comes out.

When it comes to Science Adventure VNs for next year: Robotics;NOTES and Anonymous Code are the ones I'm looking to play for 2025

But for this year I only played AI The Somnium Files (I hated the game, but the plot is fantastic) and Death Mark II (Loved the game)

And I'll be playing through Muv-Luv on Switch for this year

The main ones for the next couple of years

Gnosia
Aokana
Science Adventure (Playing some of these in 2025)
Ace Attorney (2025)
Muv-Luv Trilogy (2025)
Utawarerumono Trilogy (2025)
Death's End Re;Quest Duology (2025)
Another Code Recollection (2025)
TYPE-MOON's (All the ones that's been released here, also all 2025)
The Radical Dreamers (2025)
Ghost Trick Phantom Detective (2025)
The Fruit of Grisaia Trilogy (2025)
Clannad Series
Master Detective Archives Rain Code (2025)
Raging Loop
The Silver Case 2425
Tales From Toyotoki
Famicom Detective Club Series (2025)
Necrobarista Final Pour
Opus Echo of Starsong (2025)
A Space For The Unbound (2025)
Root Film
YU-NO A Girl Who Chants Love At The Bound Of This World
Slay The Princess (2025)
World End Economica
Bustafellows (2025)

If you like unlikeable protags, you'll love chaos head. That is quite the list you have there, you must be an avid reader! I'm all for hearing your feedback as you go through them.

I haven't forgotten your fata morgana suggestion, that's on my to do list - I've been on a sci Fi bender, trying to find the most brain melty stuff possible as I'm kinda into that.

Probably when I feel like absorbing some more dramatic tension inspiration I'll go through fata Morgana, but I've got sci;adv to do, as well as some, uh, paper novels? Maybe aegis rim, too (I know that one isn't exactly a vn though some people give it a vn pass) and then on to Fata Morgana.

Is fata morgana related to the fate series at all? I don't like looking up much on vns because any time I look up even basic info on a thing, somehow I find spoilers.

Yeah I'm an avid reader. I read around 17 to 25 books every year. I read manga and comics too. When it comes to books though my main genres are Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror. But I try to read outside those three genres

I'm into anything when it comes to Visual Novels. So I might play Chaos;Head as my first VN next year

Aegis Rim was fantastic too and I consider that one to be a VN

No Fata Morgana is not related to the Fate Universe at all. It's a Gothic Supernatural Romance. Also go for the true ending. It's a fantastic VN. It's my favorite VN for a reason. Also The OST is in my Top Ten OST of All Time. Listen with headphones on when you do get to play it
