I've only platinumed Gravity Rush, Virtue's Last Reward, and Sound Shapes. I didn't enjoy the other games I've played enough to platinum them, or they had some really ridiculous/hard ones.

I just looked, I don't have a single platinum wether it be vita or ps3 xD

Vita Platinums so far for me...
- Plants vs. Zombies
- Sound Shapes
- Uncharted: Golden Abyss
- Virtue's Last Reward

Vita 100%s so far for me...
- PulzAR
- Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack
- Welcome Park

I'm pretty darn close on bagging Platinum #5 from Gravity Rush. Still have to gold some pesky challenges there.

Currently plugging through Need for Speed: Most Wanted and Virtua Tennis 4. Hoping to get one of those more or less conquered before Persona 4: Golden arrives.

I've never got a platinum on a single game. I probably have about 150 or more games on my trophy list, lol. I have just never had enough incentive to feel like getting all the trophies. I like trophies, just not enough to do that.

same here. i was very impressed with myself as i was only a few trophies away from platinuming ratchet and clank crack in time, but then my hard drive failed and i lost my save. i don't think i will ever get a platinum.

No platinums here either but have a few on my mind to get...wasn't bothered before but since getting my vita it's quite fun.

Shame Lumines had no platinum - does it cost them money to add it in or something? Had some pretty tough moments in that game.

Are there OT's for NFS and AssCreed? This hurricane got me all fucked up and I missed everything.

How were they received?

AC is a good and fun game with tons of glitches. It IS fun, but you shouldnt be allergic to framerate dips and glitches like people walking on water or them being stuck in midair. Most who played it enjoyed it as well. As I said, its a bit rough though.

If you dont like AC, then AC:L isnt changing that. If you like AC, you'll probably like this as well.

there is an assassin's creed liberation OT, but the NFS OT is for all platforms (vita/ps3/etc).

most people seem to be enjoying both. i am in love with nfs, but i haven't played ass creed.

Ok everyone, episode 1 of "The Vita Show" is now live at YouTube. See it HERE.

I welcome all comments, suggestions, and recommendations for future episodes. In fact, I'd say the things I read here are probably the most important of all since I consider this board my online home and the people in this particular thread to be my "Vitabros".

There were a lot of challenges to shooting a 20-minute show using only the Vita. Obviously its not the greatest cam in the world, but I thought it did a pretty decent job considering it is a bonus function of the device. I sure learned a lot about lighting and the consequences of not rehearsing. I speak on the fly all the time for my audio podcast, so I didn't think it'd be any different for The Vita Show, but I found out there's a whole boatload of issues that come up when you are doing video in addition to just audio.

I debated wether or not to use the Vita for game footage capturing as well, since I think its kind of cheesy to do the off-cam thing, but I ended up deciding it might be part of the show's charm to record absolutely everything with the Vita. I'm interested in hearing if people agree with me on that one.

And yeah, we played RE: Operation Raccoon City. We think its dumb fun. If people can dig the RE6 co-op, I don't know why REORC should be any different. ;)

Thanks in advance and I hope some of you find it enjoyable.

Get Resistance Burning Skies. You get a platinum just for beating the game.

I haven't got my console yet, but already picked up Hot Shots Golf for £7 and Resistance on order.

A bonus for myself is that I have never had a Sony console, so I also have the PSone and PSP back library as well. Life is good :)

Everybody's Golf for £7? where from

Also is the FF3 on PSP exactly the same thing as DS aside from the cgi cutscenes? thinking about getting it and trying to get the guide cheap for my FF strategy guide collection and incase i get stuck (yes i know i could use the internet but i like the guides)

Have been seriously considering getting a Vita over Xmas, hopefully a great value bundle will be around.
A lot interests me on it, Uncharted, LBP, Lumines, AC, Gravity Rush and possibly more would have to look into it. Soul Sacrifice next year also sounds great.

Just the memory card pricing is a little steep imo. Would I get away with an 8gb card do you think? Would mostly use it for demos, and store games that work on the Vita, doubt I'd use it for retail games unless I went for a bundle that has a digital voucher.

Then again, the cross-buy feature on some titles will require you to download the games digitally won't they?

Cross buy yes.

If you plan on not buying games digitally that you can buy in retail, then 8gb is plenty, though.

I'd say dont worry about that for now if you go retail for most games.

Wonder what Sony's big 2013 Vita racer will be. Sounds like it would've been a Cross Buy WipEout with the launch PS4 before Liverpool closed, so now it could be MotorStorm (would be awesome, and something just got greenlit at Evolution), or GT (massive seller). Could even be LBP Karting if they plan to alternate home and portable releases annually (with the mainline LBP games going the other way).

A full-on Motorstorm seems a bit of a stretch, and WipEout doesn't get such frequent releases. Gran Turismo I think would happen more likely in 2014, but that's just me.

open-world motorstorm please!

I really hope we see one eventually too. Not that RC is bad, but their standard game is so damn fun.

RC is super fun, it just satisfies another kind of need.

Ok, you also have to play 1 game of multiplayer but close enough. lol

I was thinking more so along the lines of making sure you get enough axe kills, headshots, thermo-explosion kills, and whatever the other one that requires a little grinding/attention is. But yeah, it's one of the easiest platinums I've ever done; especially since you can play it on casual and still get it in a little over 1 playthrough.

Anyone really thrown off about NFS MW vita's difficulty?

Burnout paradise/hot pursuit on 360 I had no problem beating 90% of races on my first 3 tries.

Most wanted on vita? Every race is a struggle where I usually bumble into something. It's not the games fault I think I just have trouble scanning for traffic/stuff in the background on the vita compared to on my tv? I'm going to keep playing since I enjoy it, but one "medium" race took me about 15 tries today I felt like the biggest idiot ever.

I think I read that they raised the difficulty of the Vita version to make up for less cars in the competition (Someone please correct me if wrong) I like that though. Makes me actually want to buy the game. Cant think of many difficult racing games.

Yep I know what you mean...it excels as a top-down racer too...but their classic series is just ridiculously fun on PS3, funner for me. RC has been in the top seller list for a while so I hope that paid off for them despite the low price.

Some events aren't easy at all! Sometimes I think they expect you to get some of the other mods before you can improve/finish with a higher score..I know what you mean about the scanning....needs your full attention to race at the higher speeds on this. A bit of luck involved with the traffic too.. You're right it seems slightly harder then the average NFS I remember....(quite thankful about that personally though, always appreciate a challenge...adds to replay - especially when I enjoy the gameplay)

The funnest and also most challenging events for me have been the ones where you need to AVERAGE a top speed, so exhilarating...lot of restarts with traffic collisions though..

There is a bit of rubber banding too to keep them near you in races so don't go overboard with the boosting - but focus on not crashing instead, and taking corners fast..

I don't think I've platinumed any vita games yet :/

The only game I've platinummed was Rayman, mostly because it remained fun all the way. The whole challenge of the game came in getting enough purple things in each level IMO. Also the time trials were fun.

I just don't get the mindset of suffering through grinding for the sake of a trophy. I find that quite ridiculous to be honest. I've got better things to do with my time.

Modnation Racers: Road Trip 2

I found the races to be quite easy, except for the ones labeled as hard obviously. Sometimes I had to tacke other ones, get upgrades and get back into these.

Rayman LAST secret stage took me hours to beat. Great game though. I agree that trophy hunting is stupid, but most gaming is just carrot on a stick. Just another pursuit of an arbitrary goal. I pursue the ones that look fun and ignore the ones that seems grindy.

The good thing is that sometimes trophies change the way one plays a game, for example in mirrors edge I tried from the get go the get the "no guns fired" trophy. I don't know if I would have tried if there was no "reward" attached to it. In the end, trophies are just the destination, the fun comes from the road there and if it looks boring, just don't pursue it.

Can vouch for this. VLR is my first platinum ever. On PS3 or Vita. It is both good game, and getting the Platinum involves unlocking all the story, and no silly extras that you need to grind or find by accident. It's a fairly straightforward one and I got it through one "playthrough" of the game's entire plot.

Sounds perfect :) Argh still 17 more days in EU.

I almost went into RAGE, get Ban mode in "Vita, should Sony kill it thread"

Never again am I entering those stupid fucking threads

Need for Speed Most Wanted arrived today.
I tried it just for a few minutes...
It's amazing, screens don't give him justice at all.

You missed my Glorious RAGE Rant in the PS Store update back in Feb 2012
That got me a 1 month Prison Sentence

Mods being Bethesda fanboys confirmed.

Sorry, couldnt resist.
