Hmm, how the hell did I confuse that. Where am I getting 4 from? Let me remote play onto my PS3 and look. I can't get on it properly because the living room is upside down while the gas men put a new system in!
EDIT: on a different note. My Near encounters have gone from an average 45-50 at the start of the month to 70-75 for the last 3 days. My Vita hasn't moved out of the house.

You are right, no one is making you sign up for it. That is the opinion of a consumer though as Sony will see both as separate customers with some overlap.
If you only own a vita and are trying to support plus on the vita and the vita itself by buying Ps+ then sony should probably try and keep you happy. The bar has been set with plus on the Ps3. To give less and ask for the same price is just bad business.
But they want you to get it ?!?!
I don't really think Ps3 only owners should mind that much as plus on ps3(which is fantastic by the way) has set the bar for what plus should be like on the vita. They announced Ps+ for vita as it's own thing with an instant game collection, cloud saves etc everything the ps3 has. I think it is just a major bonus that ps+ is tied to an account instead of on a per console basis, think of it as reward for loyalty. The selections and services will probably be handled separately, maybe .
Any of these any good ?

They shouldn't feel obliged but there are expectations(Ps3 Plus) and its going to cost exactly the same.
I've done a few hundred miles in the last week and found loads of people playing Assassin's Creed Liberation. Good stuff.

From my near finds everyone in my part of town seems to be playing Assassins creed and 25 people seem to have gotten their hands on P4 the golden(possibly imports)
Bullshit they are saying that like it's the average length.
A few people in the village where i live are playing. I went to a city and there were loads of people playing.

Would it be safe to assume I could get 7 hours of battery life on the Vita playing PSP games? I am trying to decided if I should just bring my Vita on a 14 hour flight or the PSP with its 7 hour battery and a spare 4 hour battery.

Same thing happened to me. I bought the game on the 23rd. I am able to download it from my download list, but if I look on the game's page, it says I need to purchase it.
I think it has to do with the DLC problem they had. Apparently, we were supposed to get the alternate costumes for 38 characters DLC pack with the game but if you bought it before the 26th you didn't receive it. They then put a new version on PSN that is fixed, but we don't have access to that one. Capcom was supposed to have fixed our accounts by this past tues but nothing ever got fixed.

As i wrap up assassins creed liberation. I can't help but think how much better it would have been if they had more time to optimize/expand the game. By the no way is this a harsh critisizim of the game itself as it is still a spectacular game worth experiencing by every vita owner. On that note i thought about all the vita titles i've currently enjoyed and look forward to future vita games and what they'll bring to the table. Looking forward to these

The sequel to the one I just finished which I cant name because saying that it has a sequel is sort of a spoiler I guess. Not officially announced yet, but oh boy. Ooooh boy, am I looking forward to this.
Smart as is grossly overpriced for the product it is. Not saying its BAD, but I dont think they should have priced it any higher than 15$.
Surprised to see Doctor Who this high, anyone played it? Impressions?

As long as you're running in AP mode and using headphones you should be fine. For an even longer playtime I know you can get those portable chargers for cheap. Or a Nyko power grip.

My copy of VLR finally arrived today. Amazon is kind of shitty for us Canadians.
Took over two weeks for it to arrive. Paying $10 for shipping, it should have been here in half that time, like most other places I order from within the States. Hell, even when a friend of mine sends me stuff from the US (with $3 shipping) it's here within a week.
That aside, can't wait to dive into it. I should finish ACIII:L up first, but I can't resist. Plus I want to play it before spoilers start flying around.

Aside from that, I've had nothing but bad experiences with amazon.ca. Normally I buy from Amazon.com, and have a friend in the US order it using his prime account, and then just forward it to me. Amazon.com was shipping VLR direct to Canada this time, though, so I went that route. It actually took longer to ship direct to me, than it does routing it through my friend.

Possibly. The last tracking update had it in Illinois on the 1st. Tracking ends once it crosses into Canada, so it was probably at customs that day, or on the 2nd. Can't imagine it would take another week to get here from there, so it likely was held up.
Finally ordered a Vita because of a nice tax refund. Got LKS with it, because I liked the Wii-version even though most reviews aren't that positive. But in the case of niche titles like that, I can't trust reviews any more xD

Just confirmed that the purchase is registered in my list on SON website, but I still get a "buy now" button instead a download button on PSN store. This is very strange, I think I'll send an email to Sony support (or it's a waste of time?).
