Gamasutra wrote an excellent postmortem on Uncharted Golden Abyss. I'd make a thread but I'd like to finish reading it first, if anyone else wants to go ahead feel free to do so.
Thanks for the link, reading now.

That's weird - the IGC on PS3 is 10 games at any one time :/
Like others have said, I'm expecting a pretty solid line-up, because otherwise the service for Vita-only buyers wouldn't be equivalent to the PS3-only subs.
Yup and a decent enough argument if you ask me, Sony aren't making you sign up for Plus, if you don't like the service that it provides for the Vita, don't get it.
I've both PS3 and Vita so them adding in is great news to what I already considered to be an amazing service.
What about PS3 only owners?
Sony's argument will be that plus gets you xyz. If you are only able to use x and z because you don't own one of the platforms, that's your problem.
XS Soccer, Ping Pong, Racers!
it's funny that you think Sony would feel obliged to treat Vita owners the exact same way they treat PS3 owners
EDIT: on a different note. My Near encounters have gone from an average 45-50 at the start of the month to 70-75 for the last 3 days. My Vita hasn't moved out of the house.
I've done a few hundred miles in the last week and found loads of people playing Assassin's Creed Liberation. Good stuff.
Safe to assume COD BOD coming next week?

Bullshit they are saying that like it's the average length.Game Length. The game was big. Much bigger than it needed to be. We've never skimped when it comes to play time in our games. I think most of the Syphon Filter titles clocked in at eight to 10 hours, as did Resistance: Retribution. The first run through of Uncharted: Golden Abyss took players 16 hours.
From my near finds everyone in my part of town seems to be playing Assassins creed and 25 people seem to have gotten their hands on P4 the golden(possibly imports)
What free psone games ?

Ultimately the difference between these two games is simple: WRC 3 is for those who like to tweak suspension levels and scrape fractions of seconds off their best race time, whereas MUD should be the choice of those who like their racing games to be less about the tyre pressure and more about the stunts.
Both games are solid graphically, and there wasnt any noticeable slowdown whilst playing. The multiplayer code seemed to work well on both sides as well.
However, this is a race and Im going to have to declare a winner. Speeding across the finish line in first place is MUD FIM Motocross World Championship, pipping WRC 3 to the post thanks to the amount of content it has on offer, which should keep you engaged for a long time. If, like me, you were horribly disappointed by the official Vita Motorstorm game MUD makes a very pleasant replacement.
WRC comes in a very close second though, losing traction at the last moment due to its limited content. However, it does look gorgeous though, especially the trees.
I just received my vita in the mail, wow this a beautiful device. It just oozes quality. It is used but looks like it was untouched, not bad for $120 bucks. I cannot wait to start playing with it. Right now it is charging so I cannot turn it on, but I am excited!!!!
Same thing happened to me. I bought the game on the 23rd. I am able to download it from my download list, but if I look on the game's page, it says I need to purchase it.@Hanmik and @Ken
yeah, I was able to download the game and it appears on my download list. And I did play it quite a bit, more than AC3:L, and I was able to rate this one.
I'll try to login on SON latter and report to you guys (I cant access it right now because my job's firewall dont allow me to).
- Assassins Creed III: Liberation
- LittleBigPlanet PlayStation Vita
- MotorStorm RC
- Doctor Who : The Eternity Clock
- Need for Speed Most Wanted
- FIFA 13
- SunFlowers
- Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater HD Edition
- Burn the Rope
- Table Top Tanks
Curious as to what everyones most anticipated Vita titles are ?
SCEE just posted their PSN download charts for October.
Great to see Liberation at the top despite only one day of sales.
Most Wanted is a bit lower than i thought it would be though.
And Smart As isn't there at all...
As long as you're running in AP mode and using headphones you should be fine. For an even longer playtime I know you can get those portable chargers for cheap. Or a Nyko power grip.Would it be safe to assume I could get 7 hours of battery life on the Vita playing PSP games? I am trying to decided if I should just bring my Vita on a 14 hour flight or the PSP with its 7 hour battery and a spare 4 hour battery.
The sequel to the one I just finished which I cant name because saying that it has a sequel is sort of a spoiler I guess. Not officially announced yet, but oh boy. Ooooh boy, am I looking forward to this.

Smart as is grossly overpriced for the product it is. Not saying its BAD, but I dont think they should have priced it any higher than 15$.
As soon as the orange light stops flashing you can turn it on and go.

Just checked and tales is no 8 in the US store
Gravity Rush ?
Got it, it is on now. Wow, I love it. I am toying with the UI now.
Congrats! There's nothing like turning on that Vita for the first time.
My copy of VLR finally arrived today. Amazon is kind of shitty for us Canadians.
Took over two weeks for it to arrive. Paying $10 for shipping, it should have been here in half that time, like most other places I order from within the States. Hell, even when a friend of mine sends me stuff from the US (with $3 shipping) it's here within a week.
That aside, can't wait to dive into it. I should finish ACIII:L up first, but I can't resist. Plus I want to play it before spoilers start flying around.

Very wise. Enjoy it! Great game.
Why order it from Amazon.com instead of Amazon.ca?
For the pre-order bonus!
Aside from that, I've had nothing but bad experiences with amazon.ca. Normally I buy from Amazon.com, and have a friend in the US order it using his prime account, and then just forward it to me. Amazon.com was shipping VLR direct to Canada this time, though, so I went that route. It actually took longer to ship direct to me, than it does routing it through my friend.
That last line has to be a piss-take.This sixthaxis article s nice..!

Wonder if it had something to do with customs?

Sorny, where is my wake up club?!
Finally ordered a Vita because of a nice tax refund. Got LKS with it, because I liked the Wii-version even though most reviews aren't that positive. But in the case of niche titles like that, I can't trust reviews any more xD
Gonna get Persona 4, too. Really looking forward to it!
Thank for your response. My name is Lupe, I will be assisting you today. I apologize for the inconvenience, but the "Free game offer expired August 31, 2013 or while supplies last." I am sorry but you did not sign up for the plan with AT&T in time to qualify for the offer.
Thank you for your time and interest. Again, I apologize for the inconvenience.
What the fuck sony. I'm trying to get the free game you advertised on my vita box and this is the response you send me after telling me I'm able to get the game:
You're telling me that because the offer expires NEXT YEAR I'm no longer eligible after telling me you could fix the issue in the last email you sent? The only thing I can think of is the "supplies last" bit. How can you run out of digital supplies?
Did he make a typo?
Or does it say 2013 on the box as well?
could you download it..? does it show on your download list..?
try to log in here https://account.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/pc/login.action and see if it registered on your list..
