Long story short (lol?):
It all started when my class had a Japan trip. Ever since then my parents pay for my ticket every year to visit my Host Family in Kobe. I learned japanese I'm Japan and took japanese classes for years till I graduated high school. Exposure to the actual country helped. Lol although I must admit I do still have trouble with a few hundred kanji. But I practice every now and then so I don't forget. I am going to school to get a degree in Japanese. Since I'm fluent I'm hoping with my connections that I can give private english lessons to family friends over there. Basically I'm trying to make my next visit to Japan permanent

I never enjoyed my PSP much to be honest. I liked DS way better back then, but I hadn't played any handhelds in YEARS because I got tired of the PSP AND DS after hardly any time. I came back to the handheld scene when the Vita was unveiled and I've been loving it ever since.
Me too i never was really into my psp. I have more games now for the vita than i have for the psp for its entire time i had it, which is a while. The best thing about psp was the GTA games and playing mlb the show and thats pretty much it, the NBA game was ok for a month or two. The lack of a second stick ruined it, games i would normally be interested in i didnt want, like the battlefront games. Without the second stick it was awful to control and completely unenjoyable so i didnt buy alot of games i would have. While on the other hand i loved the Vita from the start and haven't stopped. To be fair though it was the same with all the gameboys, couple good games and nothing else.
Btw can someone tell me how to easily quote more than two people i have no clue. Do i have to do it manually by copy and past and use the quote brackets etc. I only know by clicking quote but if i want to quote someone else i cant.

Press the little plus button beside "Quote". Just press quote on the last post you're going to quote and the plus for the ones before that.

I still think the first PSP feels more like quality build than Vita and my Vita's has begun to quirk. Maybe cause I have it in my backpack with no cover. I also accidentally hit it into one of my shelves today so now it got a tiny little cut at the side.
I've actually been playing it in the last week or two and at the core it's pretty good. It is dynasty warriors.
However the overall experience is dragged down by the ungodly amount of Vita gimmicks that were unnecessarily tacked on. You will do an overly annoying and dragged out touch only boss battle in 99% of battles you do, and in each battle you'll come across at least 1 ambush gimmick that requires you to rapidly tap enemies before they get to you or swipe the projectiles they throw. There are also some missions from past DW games that have been relegated to shitty gimmick minigames. Like Guan Yu escaping from Cao Cao's army, it's handled entirely by navigating around a twisting map by only using the Vita's gyro sensor.
All of these gimmicks are not that bad when taken 1 at a time. But if you're going for the trophies (which are reeeeeally grindy and require probably 80+ hours) or are just going to play the game a lot then they can really wear on you.
I agree. Solid DW title overall, but the Vita gimmicks are annoying. I felt the same way about the Uncharted game. Just let me use normal controls on the go.
Can't wait to hear Killzone:M/Tearaway info.
Should be getting news around this month or next!
I hope so! KZ looks to be shaping up as the first real FPS for the Vita.

I'll just buy a standard Vita case at GameStop - after all just for a 30 minute train ride.
I'll get Resistance for $7 this week to hold me over until Killzone in the FPS genre.
The new hotness, let me tell you.
Local store in Denmark I'm sorry.Where is Resistance at $7? I'll definitely pick it up for that price.
You'll be in the Vitagaf clan and you will like it.
This would make me cry :[ I hate low player matchesIf it's 4 v 4 because of Party Chat, I'm gonna be dissappointed
Killzone 3 was limited to 24 players and that was already pushing the engine, some maps had very bad framerate when 24 people were playing. I'm hoping for 6x6 or 8x8, it's how I prefer to play Killzone anyway.
This is awesome, I didn't know any of this! It sounds like something I would want to do but never had the chance to. It's so cool how you've kept in touch with your host family after all these years. BTW, are you getting any upcoming JPN Vita games?Long story short (lol?):

I actually want low player action. Many players results in all out war which fits Killzone I admit but I want a FPS were we can talk together, sneak around and stalk the other team like in Rainbow Six 3.
well you better be up for some senran kagura with me^ Soul Sacrifice, Senran Kagura, PSO2, and I been meaning to get AKB1/149
Isn't there a WKS PSP game?
Wow, just saw screenshots of Sine Mora and Dokuro on the screenshot thread. Is Sine really that stunning?

It was sooooooooo bad. So bad.
Vitabros, I can contribute at last! I've been lurking for quite a while and just got activated. I, like many, was suckered into the "insane Vita bundle...WOW!" and have been loving my Vita ever since.
Just thought I'd speak up and show my love for the Vita. Here's to another great year of awesome Vita games. We're off to a good start.
