Nah. Ghost recon vita is likely to be coming if you care about that .
I'd prefer Far Cry.

Edit:
For the new page, some recomendations (this time not the typical ones):

Vita exclusive retail new IP : Gravity Rush
Vita exclusive PSN new IP : Escape Plan
PSM exclusive new IP : Surge
Minis exclusive new IP : Where is my Heart?

PSOne game : Metal Gear Solid
PSP game : Darkstalkers Chronicle The Chaos Tower

Vita retail brand new exclusive game from existing IP : Lumines Electronic Symphony
Vita PSN brand new game from existing IP : Super Stardust Delta

Vita retail port/multiplatform : Metal Gear Solid HD Collection
Vita PSN port/multiplatform : Motorstorm RC
PSM port : Super Crate Box
Minis port : Pix'N Love Rush

While I wouldn't mind some Vita titles of existing western games (GTA, God of War), I'd much rather have new IP's. Give me more single player adventure games. You can never have too many of those.

And Killzone and Tearaway better release before E3, even if I currently have no interest in the latter

Am I the only one who doesn't expect any kind of redesign for Vita? Cause the absolutely only thing I can imagine them changin is internal memory and I think theyd rather just bundle 4 gig mem card and cut the price.

Unless they go with ''Vita street'' with removed Wi-Fi, LCD screen and mono sound or something just to get the price as low as they possibly can.

I expect one next year, this year will be all about the PS4 for Sony.

The guys who did the DS games?

I bought the PSP at launch and loved it. Years later, I traded it in for the PSP-2000 and did not like the cheap feeling of it at all. Everything about it just felt bad when compared to the bulky but sturdy og PSP.

A Vita redesign doesnt interest me at all. A revision where everything stays the same plus some internal memory would be the only thing that makes me consider re-purchasing it.

We're getting Tearaway and Killzone news "very soon" whatever that means. Should be before E3.

Also what's going on with those Best Buy sales? They're listed on the clean ace sale but none of the have a clearance price.

I hope there's more to tearaway than what they showed a few months ago. It seemed like it was "PS Vita Gimmicks-The Game" and I was hoping since we're not in the launch period anymore that we would have moved on from that stuff for the most part.

Oh geesh man. A couple of things were dumb (mostly the screaming into the mic from the trailer) but what's wrong with trying to make a new way to do things? I thought the idea that you're controlling Iota but also you are a god helping him along the way is kind of cool. Granted, I hope adventure outweighs the god-powers aspect, but nothing wrong with having both. I just hate how implementing the rear touchpad, even if its in a neat way, it has to be labeled "gimmicks" and shouldn't be in there.

I just don't see how they could make a real redesign of the thing. As I said the only new model I really could see happen is mayyyybe a one with internal memory but it would still be the same othervise. PSP could easily be improved both size and screen. But what could they do with a Vita? I doubt they could shrunk it yet with the hardware it has in it. The screen definately won't be improved. XL model? Yeah no. PSPGO Model they tried and it was plagued with overheating problems among other stuff, the hardware hasn't been shrunk as far as I know so that is out of the question.

Vita doesn't need a redesign at all and that is not what people want. It needs only pricecut first and foremost, bundle a 4 gig with it and all the better. Vita won't be lighting the charts on fire on todays market but it can be turned around to sales which justify it's existence in the future with a relaunch if Sony plays their cards right.

There will be touch stuff,we know that but i hope it's a solid platformer without it too.

Sony said they're looking into cheaper manufacturing costs so they can drop the price. A smaller, lighter, cheaper version of the Vita that they can price competitively seems like the way to go. Heck, it can co-exist with the Vita-phat like the 3DS and it's XL brother.

Of course they are but I really doubt they will shrunk the console itself for a loooong time.

Same as in PS3 slim. It had like 3 or something different innard designs due to shrinking parts but it doesn't mean the console will be redesigned. 360 had bunch of changes in the parts before the console redesign. Xenon Falcon Jasper and whatnot.

Did COD sell well?
At least in the Spanish PSN store of the Vita appears as the first one in the Top Downloads section right now. LBP Vita and PSASBR are top 2 and 3.
I bet that for next year they'll just include Vita in their PS3, 360, PC, WiiU multiplatform for main CoD games.

I agree.

I think that a Vita pricecut and including a memory card would be the way to go. Cutting prices on memory cards is also a great idea. Having 32GBs is so nice but it hurts to spend that much money on it.

I seemed to have misplaced my rose tinted glasses this morning. Pretty annoyed at how Sony is handling the Vita atm. Even swore at my cat earlier :/

Is Declassified still godawful?

Last play-through. Multiplayer seems better as I was consistently able to connect and not get kicked back to the lobby. Single-player is what it is. Missions, Time Trials, and Survival. Trophies can be a pain but doable. Good for $20 dollars. That's all.

Starved for announcements you are (Yoda voice) .. same as me. Come it will

That would be great provided they are competent ports and cross play.

Among things. Then it's just the general folly. Why is it taking them so many months to actually roll out PSM to the rest of the globe? Granted it's not a lot of content, but you would think that having global reach might actually be enticing for developers.

Why is there no native remote play for games on the console? From what I've seen you can get the higher quality remote play for EVERYTHING via CFW.

Why is there no folders?

Edit: Long rant just ignore, going back to bed

It all felt completely unnecessary. Touch stuff, camera, mic, rear touch, probably motion too. Enough of that and just make a good game. A lot of the Vita stuff I've played so far would be even better if they didn't feel like they HAD to tack on that crap. The sliding in Gravity Rush immediately comes to mind, it would have been so much easier to do with the analog stick.

No worries. Anytime I get into one of these moods, I login to the 3DS e-shop.

Agree on all points. Regarding PSM, seems there has been a hold of some sort over the holidays on content. We should start seeing a steady stream. On the roll-out of other regions, yes .. it's slow.

Remote Play has its limitations and I think even Sony is starting to see this. I'm hoping they do something with Gaikai technology and sunset the existing Remote Play app.

You know what? I think Sony should do separate conferences for Vita, PS4, PS3, and Move. Assume that these are different markets, as they most likely are.

The game is being designed around these features, It's not just another adventure game with touch and camera input thrown into the mix "just because". I'm surprised at the amount of unwarranted "gimmick" talk Mm has been getting for this inventive looking side-project that looks to be anything but a gimmick. They're talented and imaginative developers, give them some credit.

I don't see the difference in making a game around those or tacking it on. It still results in doing things that are usually much easier and faster to do with buttons. That's why I've never been able to buy into any of it and call them gimmicks.

Then you are very single minded

Come the end of E3 all the doubters and haters will be telling us how awesome the Vita is, and how they always knew it would be a success.

Alternatively Criagslist could have an influx of Vitas for sale. ;)

That Cat deserves an apology!

That's certainly not the first time I've been labeled that, but I haven't been proven wrong yet either. None of these things have managed to evolve to the point where they can outdo buttons on a speed or practicality level yet. So why do people like them so much? It must be some kind of novelty feeling or illusion of tapping a screen making the game more immersive, because it doesn't actually improve anything when you look at the nuts and bolts of a game. I guess I need to get more emotion in me instead of looking at it logically like a robot.

People get hopes up way too much. I was critical of Sony last E3 precisely for whats going to happen now. This E3 is going to be all about next gen for Sony and MS. Vita is going to be pushed to the back, their chance to blow Vita out and show it love was last E3 and they failed so hard.

I'm sure controlling a virtual finger with an analog stick is easier and more engaging than using your actual finger. And the part where the game uses the camera to bridge the game's world and your own definitely doesn't fit the theme of the game and wouldn't put a smile on anyone's face. /s Oh well, the game's not for you then.

Using your finger to control the virtual finger would be faster and more accurate since your finger is mapped 1:1 to the game from the touchpad, and cutting paper would be easier with your finger too than fiddling with a stick.
