Vita PSN Game & Service Thread | July 2013 | Slow Month, Fast Games

I thought both of these were already confirmed for the west?

Maybe they are confirmed only for the US? I don't keep up with euro news.

This.

YES! Yesyesyes!

I was wondering when we'd get more news about it. Hopefully F's English release does well so we can see 2nd over here. I'll still import 2nd anyway because I'm impatient like that.

So, finally got the ZEXR-Gun in EDF only to find that it was nerfed.
Only two turrets can be set up at a time when it was previously three. :(
Ammo count for each was downgraded from 500 to 375.

Hopefully it will still be useful for Lysander Z farming.

Wonder if PDF2 is coming out this year? It has to if they want to keep their yearly releases.

Wonder if there'll be another limited edition..

Thanks for the Cytus Lambda recommendations, great game!

Glad your enjoying it, allot of people sleep on Playstation Mobile, but there is some great stuff on it to be honest. Im looking forward to seeing any growth of the platform once Sony gets unity support situated for PSM,and Vita. Sony also needs to figure out a way to make Playstation Mobile more accessible on Vita so stuff does not get ignored, but I dont have any great ideas in how they could it.

Ys is being brought over by XSeed, right? If so, it might be a look into getting a physical release as the games have always been digital only in Europe. XSeed's games have been digital only in Europe except Trails in the Sky, which Ghostlight brought over with XSeed's translation.

For those of you playing Men's Room Mayhem, have you tried it with a 3DS stylus?

You'd have to use a capacitive stylus rather than a plastic stylus like the 3DS one. Whereas the 3DS touch screen only requires pressure to sense input, the Vita screen requires capacitance.

Hmm when i'm back home i'll try if my wacoom digitizer from Galaxy Note 2 works :)

Finally! My first platinum ever.

Hard for me to get excited for a game that will likely never see the light of day here. :c
Maybe they'll port Nayuta no Kiseki at one point. As I understand it is more stand alone and accessible to those who haven't played the other Trails games, and thus more suitable for localization.

I assume the date for Stealth Bastard: Tactical Espionage Arsehole (aka Stealth Inc) is already known to be July 23rd in the US and 24th in the EU?

Okay, Injustice Vita is awesome news this morning. I think I might grab it and snatch up a console version when it gets cheaper. I really hope this sets up Gamescom to be full of game reveals. I really think Vita has a chance to fill out its release schedule for the rest of the year and also get a head start on 2014.

When was Injusticed announced for Vita?

Hah, I thought I would be fine with 16GB using the same logic and I didn't last long before I shelled out for a 32GB.

With regards to Hotline Miami, I knew nothing about the game besides that it was fun. May not be everyone's cup of tea, but the difficulty is not frustratingly over the top and it feels extremely rewarding to complete each stage.

Haha, yeah, I'm already grumping at my 4gb. Must hold out for the 64gbs, if for any other reason than hopefully they'll push down the 32gb prices.

Bought Hotline Miami and you are absolutely right. What a great game! I die A LOT but still have a blast. A bit like Spelunky in that regard (though my love for Spelunky is still far greater, can't wait for that -- the whole reason I got the Vita now). The insta-restart, as with the Trials series, is absolutely key to making this work, else it'd get frustrating really, really fast.

so how bad is Ridge Racer?

if i ignore the logistics of buying the game then having to buy DLC for most of the content, like lets say money isnt an issue, but once you buy the game and have all the DLC packs, is it a good solid Ridge Racer?

does it look nice and run well? interesting tracks?

ive got 30 bucks on Amazon credit and want a new vita game... still have 15 retail releases i dont own and i noticed besides wipeout (which i dont count) i dont really have any racing games

so its either that or Sonic or NFS

just leaning towards racing because its the only genre i dont have covered

otherwise i would buy UMVC3 but i already have 3 fighting games on my vita

Honestly, I'd go with Sonic or Need for Speed instead. Those are both really good on Vita. Ridge Racer runs okay after the patch (30 FPS at its best), but still suffers from a lack of content. That and the game is a maaaassive memory card hog with all the patches and DLC. The DLC pack to race as the Hornet from Daytona USA is pretty cool though~

Do any of VitaGAF living in Japan know if you can get Nikoli no Sudoku V: Shugyoku no 12 Puzzle cheaper than £33 (4960 Yen) in stores?

Want to check if there is much of a price difference before making an order from PlayAsia!
