Voter ID laws working as intended in Wisconsin.

Wouldn't the problem then be poor access to obtaining ID and not the Voter ID law itself?

Basically yes. The idea of needing an ID to vote is not, on it's own, a bad thing. But these laws are coming in tandem with efforts to make those IDs difficult to obtain, and that is totally by design.

Doing that voter id shit in nc too. They also do heavy redistricting. The funny part is they may be forced to re-gerrymander districts because that justice Scalia died. They have already sent me letters about my poling place being changed twice. So nc may end up delaying the primaries.

Let me put it this way. District 12 from the Hunger Games really is located in NC, not exactly where the shooting location was, but it's there.
District 12 is the most gerrymandered section of any state in the entire US.

It amazes me how many people just accept that so much of the US has politicians drawing their own electoral boundaries. It's such a terrible system.

Oh fuck this noise.

Yeah, I've been telling people here in the state about that. Most never knew about what's in the fine print.

I don't think that's the case. It's more like many people don't know or care to know about stuff like that or Voter ID Laws. Case in point, until recently my father defended Voter ID Laws until he saw a segment on The Daily Show that informed him of the issue.
