I just made my home page a link to my Flatscreen referral....that way I can log off for the night later and people can still get to my referral page if Mason or whoever directs them there. Plus I can just email the link to other people I know now to help me get to eight.

This is being done incorrectly IMO. We should be doing something similar to what's going on at flyertalk.com (the original conga line for the free ipod thing). Paste each person's link in the "conga" line and people click on that link and post their info in this thread. They should say:

1) Whose link they used (should be the link at the top)
2) What their link is
3) Their email addy they used for freeipods.com (or flatscreens) so it can be verified through the person whom they claimed they signed up with

I've been following this deal for a few weeks and I'm currently waiting for my iPod to be shipped. Some good info on this whole thing can be found here:

He has pics of his iPod and the packing slip recieved from gratis internet (the company running this whole thing).

I've already signed up for both deals so I can't participate, but I'll try to answer any questions if you got any :)

I am thinking of doing like a "speed conga line" where I will give the link to a couple people and as soon as we get the needed number of referrals, I'll update this post immediately and we'll move to the next person. I'll just keep going down the list until I run out of people online right now. I think we could at least do that for the next couple hours to speed things up tremendously for the people who have been sitting here waiting on this all night rather than waiting for the people who signed up first but are off doing something else. Not so much dude. Once this moves into that step, this thread will be locked quickly I imagine. I've said it five times, I'll say it again, things like this take TIME and PATIENCE. Fairness over speed.

Hmm... I'm kinda confused, actually.

Will we be waiting for confirmation of all offers before we advance down the list? Because 3 days per person will make this awfully slow.

Or once we have proof that we have 5 people signed up, will we advance the list, regardless of completed offers?

Either way, I'm going to bed now. I'm gonna wake up around 9:00 AM tomorrow, sorry if I hold up the list until then :).

BTW the ebay offer can take up to 3 days to verify through freewhatever, so even if someone has bid on something and done everything correctly, it still will show up as "not completed."

Mason you should really update the first post in this thread with the list....and REMOVE me from the IPOD one...as I don't have multiple shipping addresses available I can only do one, the Flatscreen.

You can use the same account for freeipods AND flatscreens.

I was told that if you try to do both to the same address, you risk getting nothing....so I'm going to stick with that just in case...whether it is true or not. I really only want the Flat Screen anyway.

well what had happened was i signed up with yahoo, but i hadn't put in the right address and exited out-- it still registered?

then i signed up with aol with the right address.

Yes, it has you listed as both, which means they will most likely think you're cheating and shut down your accounts. :/

you of all people should excercise some patience, lead by example man, you're gonna get your iPod and flatscreen. Don't kick someone out of line cause they aren't up/checking this website every 10 minutes

Looking through the offers, these are the only ones I see that will credit you with completion instantly:

Video professor (Costs 7$ shipping)
Nexaderm (Charges for shipping...doesn't say how much)
Seraderm (Costs 5$ shipping)

The rest all say that they will take some time. The AOL trial(not the broadband one, the musicnet one) and ebay have as little as one day wait, the others start at 2 from what I saw.

Many people (including myself) have used the same account for bith sites and nothing bad has come of it. So whoever told you that must have been confused about the way they have it set up. I know you just said you don't care about the iPod, but someone reading this may want to try both.

He's online right now, I just got a PM from him. He keeps going back and forth on whether or not he's going to do the flatscreen too.



And I would love to do this conga line properly, Justin Bailey, but we can't post the actual links in this thread, which is why we have to do it this way. Apparently it's spam.

Hmmm, well if the mods say so than that's the way it has to be, then. Personally, I think if we're going to do this we should do it the "good" way, but I'm not a mod ;)

I signed up for the ipod on the other site in case this one falls through, but keep me on this list through (I have another address I can sign up for if I need to).

I bid $15 on a Vectrex. I figure I win either way- I get an ipod for free, or a vectrex dirt-cheap :).

Keep me on this list though- the other one is only a backup and it will more than likely take MONTHS to do.

If you have more than one account, you will get shut down. They have several ways of checking.

That's a good mentality to have, but it's also not neccesarily true, hehe.

Still you shouldn't cheat if someone here is depending on your referral since it will also screw them over if you get busted.

Well, we are doing it so that everybody here signs up for somebody else here, and then it continues down. If you have friends that you could get to sign up under you, you could still help out somebody here and sign up under them.

Yes, after you sign up using somebody here as a referral(you can just go to the website, but then you're not helping anybody by signing up, it is more beneficial to use a referral address), you have to sign up for one of the offers. Then you have to get 5 friends (8 for the flat screens) to sign up for one of the offers using your link as their referral.

edit: To clarify, your friends don't necessarily have to sign up for the same offer. For example, it's hard to find somebody who doesn't have an ebay account, but that's the easiest and most hassle-free offer they have.

Just make sure that you use a ISP email addy for the ebay sign-up (no hotmail, yahoo, etc.). That way you don't need to use a credit card.

ok, and what about the 'guy down the street' thing?

I've got my own .net site, so I could easily create sally@nformant.net and put her at an address on my street that I know isn't real. Is there anything stopping my from doing that? Would it work, or are there some kind of blocks in place to stop it?

Are there any other freeblahs.com sites?
