Warframe |OT| Ninjas Play Free - PS4

Thanks for the answers, Mole. :)

I have a blueprint for a gun that looks neat. Just need to make my way through the map to where the mats are.

I made a chronos (sp?) sword. I don't know if it's better than my default one but I made it so I love it.

Just did an alert for...morphics I think it is. Gave me seven of them. It was a level way higher than I was capable of. Spent most of my time hiding. Felt like as ass, but we passed lol.

I've done a ton of missions where I'm doing 80% of the killing and there are lower levels tagging along - and, I've been the lower level tagging along. Don't feel bad about it - I think most players are totally fine with it, as long as you're near the action and don't run off lol last mission I did, we had to revive the same guy like 7 times; no biggie, because he was always near the defense point. In fact, it probably helped, because he kept drawing the baddies over so whenever he died, I knew I could take out a ton with a stomp lol

The annoying people are the ones that run off and die on the far side of the map lol

I personally love that in this game you can run with people way above you and below you and still have fun. I love helping people get through some of the rough alerts, and I've really appreciate people helping me through.

This is definitely true but some experienced players are asking for that by sprinting everywhere. So a new player who stops to check a locker or pick up a mod drop down a hallway can fall way, way behind. But yeah there are also some players that are off in their own little worlds too, but that seems pretty rare.

The more I play the more I understand the desire to move quickly through the levels as a group, but I still don't understand those players (individuals or duos) that seem to want to leave the rest of the group behind, especially in objective missions that require some coordination like captures and mobile defense.

I completely agree with this, too. I was at the lead with another player through a mission, and two players were lagging behind - we got to one of the two panel doors, and I turned and waited until the rest of the team caught up. He started screaming profanities and homophobic insults.

Still didn't get me to open the door ... In fact, I slowed down the whole mission so the other guys could collect all their resources, him spewing vitriol all the the while.

That's really unusual, though ... Most people have been pretty understanding. If you're looking for a specialist style team for speed runs, though, you really should turn off public matches. He shouldn't have expected everyone to want to play just how he wanted. Everyone is their to have their own fun.

Just started this and noticed the starter Warfram now includes Mag and not Volt - is she still regarded as good compared to Loki and Excalibur?

Haha, I do the same thing. Not quite so fast once they hit that co-op door now are they? ;p

Only played Excal and Mag... gotta say Mag is a bit more fun imo. Excal is just... all around decent, does not excel does not suck. Mag has crap defense but her abilities can wreck entire areas. Personal choice though.

Starting out, is there somewhere you should be grinding to get drops to make new frames or is it totally random? I don't want to buy blueprints for a frame only for it to be something I can't get parts for anytime soon and I will need to play the heck out of the game before I unlock where I need to go to get the parts.
Bosses for each planet drop blueprint parts for a particular Warframe, save Mercury, who only drops blueprints for the Seer handgun and Cronus sword. Since you're just starting out, you're going to want to farm Venus's boss for Rhino's parts--the helmet, chassis, and systems. It may take more than 3 tries to get all the parts. Each blueprint needs its own resources to build, which you're going to have to forage from different missions. Once you have all that, you're going to have to buy the main Warframe blueprint from the market (for credits!) so you can finally build your Warframe. The shortcut to all that grind is to spend plat, of course, but I feel like it defeats the loot/grind purpose of the game.

Ever since the buff to pull and shield Polarize, mag is one of the better caster frames. Pull is very good CC If you can line up enemies and it does ragdoll damage if mobs run into each other.

Shield polarize is good for saving the cryopod and murdering corpus.

Bullet attractor is good for tanking hits scan weapon bosses and combos well with excalibur's ult.

Crush is good but falls off late game like most pure damage powers.

In order to make dual weapons you need to make the single twice, correct?
Pretty much, unless the weapon doesn't exist in single hand form.

So to make my dual Furis I needed to craft each one individually and have enough slots in weapon inventory for both - then those two get sacrificed as resources for the third blueprint to create the dual wield version.

Keeping that in mind, for my dual Vastos I'll make the first one, and then probably max it to level 30 (for mastery XP) before sacrificing it on the altar of dual wield, since the dual wield version is considered a different weapon entirely.

That's good to know!

Which scarf do you guys like the best?

Going to try and arrange a corrupted mod run party when I get back in. Around 9pm est. No way I'm paying 60-80 plat for heavy caliber. I'll send a msg through psn chat when I'm on. Will figure out who Carries what key then.
Also, I'm guessing orokin exterminate are best for corrupt runs?

Most of the time? None of them. I do like the custom ones for Nekros and Valkyr though.

I like Capture myself, just make sure you have group members who can stun the capture targets so they don't get away. Much faster than running around the entire map killing every single enemy.

I can make dual Zoren axes. I think they're called that. Do I need to make them single ones too??

Edit: or should I make the dark dagger instead? Axes seem a better fit for Rhino.

Valk still sucks. The most pain to level to 30 and the least fun. Her kit needs a serious rework.

What ? Just use her fourth and killshit non stop being invicible in defense/ mob defense. It was along with nuker the easiest to bring up to 30.

I'm down. Add me: stray_dog_strut. I already have Extinguished and Hobble keys. I'll carry either one, probably Extinguished since it has a higher probability of appearing than the Hobble.

In case anybody was curious, you can stealth up to the Capture targets and take them down before they get a chance to run.

I've been messing around with a stealth build lately - Paris (bow) or Dread (stalker bow), Kunai (throwing knives) and my Glaive or Kama (scythe). I also made sure to make a second loadout for my Carrier sentinel with the "Striker" precept removed so it's purely a passive, heavily shielded pickup vacuum.

I figure I can use this to run some mid to high level missions to fill out entries in the codex with my scanner. It'll be like a wildlife safari :)

And hell, I was just curious whether stealth would make a difference with captures, and whaddya know, it does.

As does having a Volt around for super speed and some ranged stun action. I love my Volt :)

I swear if the game trolls me by offering the Energy Siphon alert while I cannot connect to PSN...

It's bad enough that the alert drops I wanted all tend to come around 3:00am-4:00am PST.

Her ult's melee range is pitiful. Grineer and Corpus gunners can kite her. Never mind that melee is janky in general. Her other abilities are useless. She offers next to zero utility for a team. Maybe she's fun for mid-level defense missions, but trying to defend Narcissus and/or Outer Terminus is nigh impossible with Valk. Rhino's first ability, Iron Skin, functions similar to Valk's ult without the melee-only limitations and timer for less energy.

Can someone add me to the GAF clan ? :)

The 370p pack for $14.99 (normally $20) would also be more than enough to last you for the entire game if you spend smartly and only use your plat for potatoes and Warframe/weapon slots.

What are the potatoes that you guys keep mentioning lol?

I was playing perfectly fine for a good 2.5hrs, with BitmapFrogs, up until about 2hrs ago. I did notice that PSN was taking a while to log in but it didn't stop me from playing the game at all :-/

What is with the game that as you play it just goes really slow like the framerate just turns to shit and doesn't get better, it just slowly gets worse. I keep having this happen in random games. Doesn't seem to be lag cause I've had laggy games where people are constantly warping everything.

Also what the hell is up with the map on screen, why does it sometimes end up in the middle of my screen?!

The map thing happens when you click on the touchpad, it was added with update 11.

It seems there are a few people who still need a invite to the clan.

If you can send your request on PSN to "Helscream" I will see if I can make some room and invite you. ATM we are full, but we are close to finishing most of our research. If there are people who have been off few more than 10 days I will remove them to make room. The goal right now is to finish up all of our research then upgrade to 300 member capacity in the Clan Dojo.

Remeber send your request on PSN to "Helscream".

I'd love an invite back to the clan. I spent quite a bit of platinum on forma for the dojo already. I can understand being cut though as I was away from it for two weeks.

Edit: I'll send my invite the requested way.

I take back everything I said about ember.

All it takes is max level and max WoF.

No need for the other abilities when you have WoF

I hate that your weapon/frame level goes back to zero after being forma'd though :/

Don't use a forma on any of the non prime warframes since they will eventually be Primed and your Forma will go to waste
