I didn't buy the second expansion. I was hoping for a double pack, like they did last time.
Is Broken Mirror worth getting? I know it came with a snow map, was there anything else?

Oh it's definitely worth getting. It promotes teamwork. Just last night there was a guy sacrificing his fun and playtime just so he can keep the APC parked at the enemy's main base for people to spawn from. That's a team player if you ask me. I'd never be able to stay in one spot just so others can have all the fun.

Well the other folks had to assist with defending him unless the other team were complete idiots. An APC isn't indestructible, so it sounds more like it was a team effort. :D

I'm starting to get the hang of it, at least using the warhawk. But I've got one question about it. Can you use the stealth as a defense against missiles? I mean, if they lock on to you, can you start the stealth and lose the missile?

Oh, and fighting on the ground sucks. I still haven't got a single kill with the pistol or the rifle, I think.

I haven't bought any expansions yet either, but I am thinking about it. Anything good in them?

Sorry if this has been posted already...

I just picked up broken mirror last night, and I couldn't seem to find any playlists that supported both DLC packs. It seemed like one or the other. Am I missing something, or is this the way it is designed?

Make sure you're switching to the combat blade when you're not engaging an enemy. You'll stay off the radar that way and be a less obvious target, thus leading to you getting the drop on the enemy.

Yes, it's designed that way. The game already chugs when there's only one flying lobster and a few warhawks in the air. I don't even want to know how the game would play with 2 flying lobsters and 2 APCs.

That's sad. Having jetpacks + APC's would be a lot of fun.

No, as long as the missiles have a lock-on, they'll follow your plane, even if you engage stealth after they're fired. HOWEVER, you cannot lock-on to someone who is already in stealth. Hopefully that makes sense.

Also, glad you're enjoying it ItsInMyVeins :)! Note that Rifle is one of the best weapons available in LONG-RANGE. It has amazing aim-bot against other players (on ground) as long as you're far away from him.

This game is easily the most fun I've had gaming so far.

Don't expect a Bluetooth mic fix. Dylan Jobe has made it pretty clear that it's not a Warhawk-specific problem, and that the ball is in Sony's court.

Oh yes, getting so very close to trophies and jetpacks. Can't wait. Must say, I really like the new map a lot, especially how you're able to land on tree branches and such.

Yeah, firmware 2.4 hosed Bluetooth headsets for more games than just Warhawk. If I recall correctly GTA4 and COD:BC were also affected.

Right now I'm just using my old Eyetoy for the mic and letting the speech come through the TV speakers. I'm rather digging it, since that means I don't even need a headset at all. :)

LOL, no this was in Vaporfield and he was parked out of the way behind their main base. They wouldn't know he was there unless someone spotted him. But he was out of site lol. He was literally just parker there allowing everyone to spawn. That guy is a true hero. Mucho props from me b/c I'd never do that for my team lol.

I'm finally back into the groove, and just in time it looks like.

I forgot how much Zones is. I love sneak attacking the main base when they're concentrating on the center.

So if one would want to get into Warhawk at this point how much would one have to spend on all the expansions and all that?

Also asked this in another thread but got no answer. What I would like to know is if u need a credit card to buy stuff from PSN? Or is there some kind of point system or could you just pay directly from your bank account?

When the new Booster Pack comes out (29th, this month, I think), you'll be able to buy all three expansions for 14.99 bucks. Really cheap price for the content you're getting.

You'll need a credit card, unless you're lucky enough to live somewhere that has the PSN cards on sale.

Wow that's a bummer, makes it a bit harder justfying a PS3 purchase when half the greatness will be out of reach :/.

If you have a Debit card that has either Visa or [brain fart] you can pay into PSN that way.

So to get the gold trophy (have a server up for 4 hours), you need to create a dedicated one?

Wait, what? Since when was I clan leader?

Oh, and I went through the training modes, I think they'll be great for beginners, a lot better than those stupid tips. Got 24 kills on the freeform flight training. Reminded me of Ace Combat - a timed shooting gallery with enemies that don't chase you and only occasionally shoot an easily dodged missile. XD Seriously though, it should be an excellent way for newbies to learn how to dodge missiles.

I got depressed that I can't muster the strength to play Warhawk anymore so I did it a few days ago... well it's not that I can't muster the strength just that I don't feel like playing unless they implement a party system of some sort, playing with randoms pisses me off alot these days too much stupid shit for my liking.

It's become a deal breaker for me these days, like Survival mode in MGO is the only thing that is keeping me coming back to MGO every week, otherwise I would have not played it for ages, like Warhawk. :/

But some of these trophies are silly, create a clan and get at least 9 members, I like the escort CTF carrier trophy though.

If anyone wants me to join their clan so they get the trophy, I am down, but I would hope someone could do that for me as well.



Also, I have been out of Warhawk for a while with so many new games that have come out. I have both expansions, and I am getting the new one today. I finished the Warhawk Beta 12th Overall in Points and got the autographs and wings to prove it. :D

wow can we just pass around the clan leadership to the ppl who've been in the clan for a while? hehe. Can't wait to get back to WH (i'm in Europe and won't be back home for another 2 wks)
