<Forza> wario ware recall in japan
<Forza> 3 minis games dont work
<Forza> see im personal friends with anoop from ign
<Forza> it will be on ign tommorow

Obviously, a very serious and INSIDE SCOOP!!!!!!111!1. Has anyone noticed 3 non-working games?

actually the recall has nothing to do with the bugs. wario ware is in violation of nintendo's "no good first party games on ds whatsoever" policy.

Nintendo's seal of quality forever tarnished!
Hell, the first batch of Famicoms was recalled. :D

IGN said:
this problem only appears when the game is paired with certain NDS units
I wonder what is different about these units that they cause one game to be buggy, and won't be expected to cause any other problems?

Then why have there been no reports of these games being buggy anywhere by gamers? Something fishy about this.
I do remember one person talking about pausing (or sleep mode-ing maybe?), closing the system, and having things freak out... but that doesn't seem to be the problem being mentioned anyway.

As well, the story does say it's only a small number of DS units affected. "Small" number of units X people with Sawaru Wario X people who weren't just believing they sucked at those particular minigames X people sharing their thoughts about it online could make for a pretty small group.

Mame Denkyuu: you cannot draw the lines required to clear the mini game.

Doukasen: Same problem as with Mame Denkyuu -- you're incapable of properly draw lines.

Well, I thought I just was stupid and sucked at those games

...

Glad to know it's the games fault, too bad I don't live in Japan!

wow, the one game that made me want a DS right now has a slight problem...
good thing i didnt import and am patiently waiting on the US launch for the game...

Nobody I know was affected by the bugs, and we all cleared the game. I don't think this is a very widespread problem.

It's cool of Nintendo to offer a trade-in. They sent mail out to everyone on their Club Nintendo list yesterday, which is prolly how Anoop found out about this in the first place.

you deserve a star for effort.

That's interesting no? Nintendo has pretty good quality control normally... I wonder why this is so.. can't be a cartridge problem can it?... hmm. I wonder how/why it'd only affect some people.

Yeah, I had no problems either... I remember reading that the Battery minigame was one of the affected ones & I cleared it no problem.

No problems with mine either.

unless they use different types of touchscreens in different DS's, i can't imagine why it'd be a problem unless it was software based.

I hope (but don't think that) someone can answer this...
I have ordered Wario Ware DS at Lik-Sang and it's already shipped.
My DS system, however, is still not shipped since they won't get US systems in the next time. I'm thinking about changing my order to either the Japanese or the Asian (220V) version - which one has the lower probability to reproduce these problems with Wario Ware?
