Well the Community Manager for T-K EU is gone until the beginning of May so I think no announcements until then (even though T-K is falling behind thanks to all of Square's and Namco's announcements today).

Hey DW GAF. Recently I picked up WO3 as I have been interested in trying out this series. So far I am upto chapter 3 and really enjoying it.

I do have a question though. Without spoilers (hence not reading this thread properly yet)I want to find out if when I equip my officers, but do not control them in the battle I play, do they still have those weapons/equipment I left them with when the AI controls them?

I am playing with my two favourites and swap in a new character with each battle so I can try as many as possible. I level the new character upto 10 and buy them a 3 star weapon to help make them a little more effective when I play with them. Is this a pointless waste of growth points and gems?

Appreciate any help GAF.

Sorry I have been unclear. I don't mean the others in my party of three that I can swap between. I was curious about any other officer I had previously played and equipped/levelled up and just happened to be part of the team that the AI controls in other battles. Does that make more sense?

The non-controllable AI characters in battles don't get effected by whatever equips, items, levels, etc on them.

Tecmo Koei has not officially announced Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate, but another set of ratings for the crossover beat ‘em up popped up in Germany. The USK has Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate listed as a PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita title.

Been on hiatus from Sengoku Musou 4 for a while now. Time to go and finish it!

OMG...Orochi on my Vita...OMG

It's such a great port, too. I spent 30+ hours just going through the vanilla content (which also has new levels/characters added) and am waiting for the PS4 version now to tackle the new content.

Cleared all the story routes in just under 29 hours total. That was a really, really fun campaign mode! The last two levels were Osaka Castle -again- from each Sanada bro's perspective. Was way easier since the characters I used were properly-leveled. Actually in Yukimura's version, I barely even used him since Koshosho was available and I had her leveled a good 10 levels higher than everyone else. Steamrolled that level pretty much solo.

Four character slots are still missing, so Okuni, Mushashi, Goemon, and the fourth whose name I forget never appear in anyone's story. I encountered them all immediately when starting the CAW mode though.

What do you mean no word? It was announced in January and comes out next month. And I've been talking about it in TokuGAF for weeks. :lol Decided not to get it though, as they aren't adding the pre-W secondary Riders as playable characters, it seems.

Unlimited Mode is new to the Ultimate (PS3, PSV, PS4, XBONE) version of WO3.

I would say they should release DW9 and finish up the SW4 editions (XL, E) before releasing WO4 just so there are even more characters to play as.

Haha yeah that seems more correct XD, just don't like the numerous amounts of rerelease of WO3 when they should basically announce the next game...which no doubt will probably be SW4XL and DW8 empires =I

Just the RAM will make the games run much better, go for it.

Nah. Koei sold me on a PS4 too. At first I was kinda bummed out that WO3U comes out in the west in Fall but then I realized it gives me time to afford a PS4.

Anyway, the last time I played an Empires musou was DW5E and SW2E. Both of them were massive fun and played the hell out of them until I got exhausted. I really like SW2 changing formation and stuffs that makes the game become more strategic as you can't just slay through the enemy for victory. My question is, is there any generation 7 empire musou game that have formation system like that?

I don't know, I think it's going to bother me a bit. It's like you're complaining about a car and pointing out how much you hate all of the individual parts of that car, but when the car is painted blue, suddenly everything is fine.

Judging by the reactions in the threads, most people will be distracted enough by the Zelda skin over a Musou game that some people will accidentally hit Y during a combo and be floored when they realize that their controller has inputs other than X and the left analog stick.

I really don't understand the phenomenon of trying to purposely play the games as inefficiently and boring as possible. I can't remember the last time I mashed Square.

Reminds me of the gametrailers(?) Ken's Rage review where they said the best tactic is to just spam triangle. Not only is that wrong, that's a really boring way to play the game.

Where is that feature located, anyway? I haven't finished the game yet; put about 30 hours into it on PS3/Vita, basically finishing the vanilla WO3 content plus the extra stuff added to that storyline, and have been waiting for the PS4 version to continue playing. Do you have to beat some of the newer content, added from Hyper and for Ultimate, before color edit becomes available, or did I miss it somewhere?
