It wasn't a perfect game but I had fun with it. One of those games ( like me:a) that got an exaggerated bum rap thanks to the internet echo chamber.

Why I played kz Shadow fall and nothing else for ages. The multiplayer is awesome , once you get into the flow , as was sound , animation , and graphic effects

Can only imagine any pleb saying it was graphics and no gameplay , obviously never played multiplayer , had some fkin awesome games.

And the design of story, enemy and foe, is just so right for a game.

Absolute pleboids lol , probably shit at the game , and couldn't get used to realistic , weighted movement , Sted of modwrn warfare , speed running

Just give me 4K 60fps Salamun Market and I'll be happy.

I remember how blown away I was when I played this for the first time.

We need a this gen "Order 1886". With how good Demons Souls is I'll bet it will look just as good as the Deep Down demo or Unreal 5 tech demo.

The only thing about Shafowfall is that it made me realize why FPS campaigns are in the 6-8 hour range because it just felt 4 hours too long.

I skipped it mainly due to the lukewarm reception in combination withnever really being a fan of the previous entries in the series.

I figure 60fps SF is still something, visually speaking. The game looked amazing. But the campaign wasn't good, level design etc lacked. I didn't regret it, the game was an excellent showcase back then. Something thats lacking right now, though Demon's souls might fit that bill its a remake of an exisisting game. Different than a completely new game.

Great looking game but the gun play is lacking. Every time I've tried to continue the story mode I got bored and turned it off after half an hour. Shame too cause I find the Helghast to be an interesting adversary.

I had just got back into gaming when the PS4 released and this I believe was one of the first games I played. It looked absolutely amazing and the story wasn't too bad at all. I had never played the other ones so I didn't know the background of the story too well, though.

I still remember a lot of the game, so it must have made an impression on me.

I wouldn't go that far, but it felt more Next Gen ( alongside Ryse ) than any of the Next Gen launch titles for PS5 and Series X.

Went back to it a few days ago and its still good looking but the LOD is pretty shit. Faraway objects appear from nowhere when scoping in

Hmmm yes annnnnnnd no lol

Its true that SF was indeed ahead of the curve when it came to a few gameplay elements and certainly pushed the curve tech wise...

However it was also very old school FPS when it came to the gameplay and level design...

I honestly felt like I was back in the 64 days with a few of the opening levels and how open they were...and P.S...

Thats a good thing. Most shooters today are corridors with real time cutscenes

Graphically, okayish.
For the rest, everything is bad, typically what a FPS lacking originality is to me. Lazy mechanics overall.
To the point where it was really, really... unpleasant to finish.

Great graphics but the gameplay was incredibly boring.

In my opinion the best contribution that Killzone makes is bots in multiplayer mode. Not enough games include bots.
