Watch Dogs has gone gold

I'm paying off my pre-order on Saturday. Haven't bought a meaty game since PS4's launch. I'm excited but I haven't really been keeping up with all the media.

Gold nowadays just means that part of the team works on the day 1 patch, part 3 of the team will support team 2 developing the DLC that will hit month 3 after launch. *yawn*

The random thought just crossed my mind, since it was mentioned in the OP... with all that Aiden's phone does, how often will you have to charge it?

He probably doesn't stay logged into Facebook and Twitter all day, so its battery is good to go.

Why do I have a feeling it will end up like first Assassins Creed? Good concept that will get better in sequels.

Battery mechanic is that it automatically recharges and is split into segments. Hacks take a set amount of battery depending on how advanced or useful they are. Kinda like action points.

Should we start taking bets on how big the day 1 patch will be?

Looking forward to the game, though. Have it pre-ordered for the PS4.

Good for them. Can't wait to see how the delay has affected the game.

Also, if I was a dev team member going on GAF and reading some of the stuff that was said, I'd just blow my brains.

That's how it is with most franchises.
Well not always. I just remember how almost everyone was excited after first E3 showing of AC in 05 or 06, but game was basically just pretty tech demo what X360 and PS3 could do. Still buying Watch_Dogs, but I hope it can keep me busy throughout the summer.

Don't worry. We're given 5 recharges for free with the retail copy.

Recharge packs will be competitively priced!

Shh... don't give them ideas. I think you would have a great future in the gaming business, though.

Aiden just hacked the Chicago police station. [LIKE][SHARE]

Is this true? If so, I didn't know that about the game. Thanks!

A next gen experience that started development nearly four years before the eighth generation began, available for last gen consoles. I can't believe they are allowed to get away with writing that shit.

I've been tossing around a blind buy, with Nvidia codes on ebay for $35... (yeah i know, uplay codes, not steam, ya ya ya)

Still just can't quite seem to pull the trigger. Was really excited for this game last year and now I'm just not sure what to expect. Might end up just waiting for reviews and maybe the steam summer sale?

More like bronze. I have no hype for it whatsoever, proabably just gonna be assasins creed with cars and more guns and with the hacking done automatically with one click of a button. Wooooo.....

My origin account and 280X 2500K powered PC is ready.
I am really looking forward to trying to recreate the 2012 demo. Hopefully the location is in the game, and environmentals will be possible to set up (time of day and weather).

grats to the team, still sitting on the fence on this one. Will wait for reviews and gaf impressions to decide if A. I want to get this and B. PS4 or PC ( I really don't like Uplay and my 580 cries at the recommended specs)
