Watch Playstation's E3 conference in movie theaters

That feel when the Salt Lake City one was already sold out when I checked...

I hope everybody who goes to the theater tonight has fun. I'll be watching from home sadly :(

Also, according to Keighley, there's already at least one person waiting in line at a theater. lol, crazy, crazy dude! I knew people would be lining up early though.

Really?

Well... Today's the day!

Yeah, saw that too. Hopefully they keep things organized and not let people without ticket get in before people who has one.

He's lining up for the waitlist line. If you already have a ticket, there's no sense in lining up so early. Pretty sure they'll keep both lines separate, as they have to verify IDs of those who have tickets.

Why are you reading my tag instead of the title of my post?
I assume that the same people who care enough to go to the theater showing are the same people that care enough to watch all of the conferences. I'll be leaving the moment the Ubisoft one is over. Since it'll only take 30 minutes max (goddamn rush hour) I'll be there in time for ticket pickup. Maybe I'll leave before it ends actually...

So STL-GAF is the plan to sort of meet up at buffalo wild wings across the street?

What time? I will meet you there with my daughter. I am going to do my best to be there around 7:30, but I have a 45 min drive from Edwardsville IL depending on traffic and I can't leave until my wife gets home from work. I will be driving either a blue Mini Cooper S or blue BMW 335i both with IL Chicago Bears plates.

Hey, just wanted to remind you, there's an age limit. I might suggest calling ahead before driving 45 minutes to see if they will let your daughter in.

Guys dont get mad but I really feel Sony isn't going to push hard this E3. Might split it up with TGS. Microsoft I think is one that is hungry here and they will own the day. My opinion by the way :)

I get out of work relatively early so I'll probably take a shower and head to my friends place. Then we'll head to the Houston theater and just wait there. I'll post in the thread once were there so if somebody from the Houston showing wants to sit together just let us know before we go in as we're doing the line so we can walk in and sit together

Umm, doors open at 6:30 P.M. and the show starts at 7:00 P.M. At 6:45 P.M. they start giving out unclaimed reserved tickets to the wait-listed people.

Meeting up at BWW sounds like fun, but I'm a little concerned about seating in the show. I don't have much going on today, so I'll try to show up early and scope things out. I'll post back with any info I find.

Edit: STL-GAF, if you haven't posted how many are in your party yet on the spreadsheet, please do so. When I go down there, it'll be useful to be able to say, "We have a group of 14 attending," or whatever, whether I'm talking to the theater or BWW.

Edit2: I'm dumb. Doors open at 7:30 and the show starts at 8:00. I don't know why I keep thinking it starts at 7:00. ><

Damn near 12 hour wait..... I hope he is an employee there and is on the clock

I have a ticket but am not sure if I want to fight the long wait. Plus I am worried about having the other press conferences spoiled for me since I have worked all day.

Thanks for the heads-up. I called and they were good with me bringing her as long as I had my printed out tickets or e-mail.

I'm more excited meeting people from GAF at this point. Sadly, I don't think I will tonight. Nobody has gotten in touch with me. :(

I didn't forget about you. Not sure what time I'll be showing up due to a slight change of plans for the day, but I'll definitely PM you if we'll be able to get to Dave and Busters early enough.

Guys what do you think Sony will be giving away at the event?? I got tickets but I live one hour away from the movie theater, I'm thinking about just watching at home instead of driving to Boston and paying for expensive parking...

Well the plan is still to meet up around 5pm-5:30ish. I'll be in the area around (probably at Dave ad Busters playing games) until other GAF heads show up. Like I said earlier, if you want to call or text me, send me a PM and I'll give my cell # out.

If I had a guess, I would say some kind of beta voucher. PlayStation Now, BF: Hardline, Destiny or something of that nature come to mind. Purely a guess though.

I'm probably going to leave straight from work, should be there @6:30ish.

Just me friend can't make it.

I'm not sure anymore if I want to go to the theater since I really enjoy watching conferences with Giantbomb crews. Their commentary is priceless.

Battlefield Hardline beta codes to people who go to this? PS4 beta announced released today, and Sony has been hinting at a substantial surprise.

I'm still holding out hope for TLoU:DC codes, but yeah, it's probably PSNow/Destiny/BF:Hardline beta codes, which i'm set with.

I have tickets to the Chicago show but I'm still not 100% on going.

I wanted to go to NYC theater tonight, but then I remembered Rangers/Kings game three is at the Garden tonight. Don't feel like being stuck on a train ride home with a bunch of drunk Ranger fans.
