So the online hacker missions are required for completion??

Not sure I really want to do any of the online stuff. I turned off invasions and left co-op open, but even that feels a little redundant to me right now.

I'd prefer to just play the whole thing single player.

I didn't think much of the first game, what are people thoughts on this, I am tempted it's at £27.99 now, I would like it at a lower price, but I am coming to the end of my back-log now.

The only game that I suppose I have that is similar is GTA5, I am not interested in the online/multiplayer, just wonder what peoples views are on this, I will be getting this on PS4, if only getting for the single player should I wait for it to drop under £20, how long is the single player mode?

I have been reading and, it seems that currently you cannot replay a mission (to get a better score?) but there is a patch incoming that will allow this?

You need

1. A successful hacking invasion (did it on first try)
2. Killing a hunter in a bounty hunt (not that hard either)
3. 5 dedsec events that spawn randomly during coop play (and I actually got 2 while playing solo, can be time consuming though)
4. Killing 5 fugitives in bounty hunt (meh, get some good weapons and blow 'em up. It's important to kill them yourself)

How is the PC version of this?

Heard good things about it (never got far in the original, didn't care for the MC) but tempted with WD2. I have a 980TI/5820k OCd and would run it at 2560x1440.

Cheers

Feel like it's starting to drag abit now. I am ust on the mission

where you use the robot to do an emotional blast

I am assuming there is not long to go? I always make the same mistake and get suckered into every little side quest , then start feeling like it's abit if a grind to the end . Not sure if I can be bothered finishing the spotx / taxi missions as well.

Still having a blast with it , though these last few missions and check points make it really hard to play non lethal :)

So, picked this up for PS4 a few days back. Might be one of the best realized open worlds I've ever seen in a game, my wife has been to San Francisco and she was calling out monuments and placed by name whenever something would come up, they did a very good job modeling the city.

Screenshots probably don't do it justice but game looks absolutely amazing on my Pro. Rock solid frame rate and barely any pop-in during fast movement. Only drawback so far is that the game's story doesn't seem to have a 'focus', it's just been a bunch of "fuck yeah hacker dudez" type missions.

Do you need to play the first one? I am hoping to get it on sale over Christnmas someplace
Nope. There's a small cameo from the first game and a character from the first game that makes a couple rather humorous jokes about it but other than that you're good.

Yeah $911 is dope, but can't really go wrong on any of them. At least, I don't recall a single mission where I thought "this is garbage".

Well, perhaps the karting stuff, but that's perhaps because I don't give a shit about races in games like these.

Yeah. They're all fine, there's just a few that stand above the others.

I actually enjoyed some of the side stuff like the spray painting. Figuring out how to get to certain spots was a fun puzzle

Recommended settings for a 970 and i5-6600k?

Left it as default which was high iirc, but vsync on and borderless windowed

Also, how do I monitor fps?

Turn vsync off when in borderless window mode as that uses windows triplle budfered vsync by default.

They were servicable. Fun is ..... well i don't see it

The end of the string of missions was alright , but that's it

Every location was basically an environmental puzzle on how to reach the spot, which I thought was really well done most of the time. Again adding to the diversity of the missions in this game.

Everything except the one with sitara where you need to paint dedsec things on every building.

NOt a bad mission but certainly forgettable
Yeah that one is booty, also the ATM ones were were kind of lame, the gimmick got tired after 3 parts but it just kept going on

They were some of my favourite little parts of the game. The finale of that mission is cool too, considering you see the art everytime you return to that one landmark!

"Environmental puzzle" aka find the thing that makes you go up, If they actually tried to make the challenge more diverse i could have seen the fun in that but it's literally a "find the crane/elevator" series of missions.
Boring as hell, especially the last one which had a nice payoff but the road to get there is so incredibly tedious.

it's well done. i'll give you that
It's ok in this game given the rest but it's my least favorite ones

The ATM ones were better because the feelign of "messing around" was there even if it was limited.

That's cool that the world remembers but i didn't have that much fun except at the end.
If that's my least enjoyable part of the game then you can understand how i enjoyed the rest right ?

The bolded is true ..the challenge wasn't there and the pacing of the mission was uneven because you're left alone. i found them all but it was too similar and it was without a doubt too long . Complete and total room for improvement in a sequel if they decide to try again. There was like 1 building that gave me a challenge because the path was blocked by a serie of guards. 1 is too little

Hey guys, just bought this game on sale. Planning on doing a stealth, no kill run.

Anything special or particular I should know about? I'm on OG ps4.

Get your RC car (main mission reward) and quadcopter drone (from the 3d printer) ASAP

Check your skill tree upgrades and focus on upgrading those as well as getting the distract enemies ability (which is crucial)

You're going to want to upgrade your jump and speed boost for your RC vehicles. To do so early on, go to the upgrade tree to those upgrades and press triangle to locate a key piece of data you need to hack in order to unlock the upgrade. Travel to the location and open up your R3 vision and scan the immediate area until a green Key Data location pops up. Figure out how to access and then upgrade those items.

The stealth is really enjoyable.

Yep, upgrade your remote hacking abilities. Increase the jump and speed of your RC as mentioned above. You can get a silenced pistol as well. There is an infinite ammo stun gun but enemies get up after a little while. Knocking them out with melee is good to keep them down permanently.

The game has absolutely no in-world changes based on stealth or going guns blazing, so you're free to choose however you play on a per mission basis :)

You can use the RC jumper to hack almost all physical hack locations whereas the drone cannot.

Thanks for the tips everyone. Will keep it all in mind.

Is there an achievement for non-lethal? Going to be gutted if I miss that.

Have disabled online, so won't get the achievements for that. HATED online in the first game.
