The same downgraded crap we´re seeing right now?
This doesn´t look any closer to the initial reveal - or any better than what they have shown yesterday.
Pop in is horrible.
I think that the game Jimmy Falllon is playing looks pretty good. Not as good as the E3 reveal but nowhere near as bad as yesterday's trailer.
You said that 'it was never an actual running game' when this footage shows that it was and is but probably on a high end PC.

Reminder that Ubisoft did exactly the same thing with Far Cry 3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mqnAbRpyqfI
I ... don't ... get this.
Is the E3 reveal a CG trailer or is it meant to be a real thing running on a PC?
If it's a real thing running why couldn't they have those graphics at release? What were they running it on at E3 if it's real?
So, if I buy Watch Dogs on PS4 I get both, an amazing, current-gen bridge and an ugly, last-gen bridge next to it? Fantastic!
What's up with all these new junior members and their ridiculous posts? Is that a reddit/4chan/misterxmedia invasion I have missed?
The bridge is highlighted because the game auto-selects items for you to interact with using the square button, and the bridge is auto-selected.Am I the only one that sees the car chase gif being bugged?

The way the bridge lights is totally off, the whole texture goes white several times in quick succession. It just looks like that section is bugged and their only real change is the spotlight of the helicopter being much bigger than before. Which they may have done for gameplay reasons? I don't know. Looking at the whole video, I can't see the massive downgrade. It's not the reveal, of course, but that wasn't the whole game either.

It's being hacked.
It´s not bugged, it´s highlighted because you can interact with the bridge.
Incredibly ugly, of course.
It will still be the best looking open world game, just not upto the levels as previously been shown.
This is horrible. Fuck my lifeFrom what we know - yes.
The inFamous team is probably significantly smaller than the Watch Dogs team too.
I was just commenting on the graphical statement. As for which will be the better game, I really can't say, although InFamous 2 was hugely better than any Ubisoft open world title, but purely on a visual level, it's hardly comparable.I'm quoting what was said! Don't get me wrong I know that Infamous SS is going to be crazy good, I just think that possibly, just maybe, it might not be that bad!
I was just speaking with a buddy of mine, one who works at Ubisoft.
In the initial release it was on a very high end dev kit and was playable using the controller. They hoped that they could keep the level as such as what was displayed but it simply wasn't viable, The game will still be good looking, just won't be able to keep the level that was initially advertised in the E3 playthrough.
Does it?
Then why would they even advertise it like that. Lots of people will be disappointed.
I personally don't really mind, but it does seem to me that the atmosphere of the game is completely lost now. Maybe that's just me though.
maybe there is little atmosphere in a sunny day. I doubt they removed nighttime and rain and stuff.
The Bridge can be raised as a hack. That section is showing the object being highlighted for the player to raise the bridge and cut off the pursuing cars.
edit - Too late..
Does it?
Probably not, but there used to be leaves twirling around, the wind that was clearly visible, etc.
I'm getting this on PC... I believe. AC4 looked crackin' on PC.
It ran surprisingly good, IMHO. I expected a train wreck, instead I got a close-to-60fps experience all the time (i5 4670K, 8GB RAM, 7850 2GB 975/1250, SSD, fairly high settings). Game looked gorgeous, btw.AC4 ran like dog sh*t on PC though. Ubisoft aren't exactly the best at porting to PC. Optimisation and all that :/
3 gifs versus 1 screenshot... you get the point.

If WD is like or close to AC IV, I'm ok with it even though I expected MORE (new IP, gorgeous E3 2012 reveal, etc. etc.).
Does it?
Looks fine to me....
