Watch_Dogs |OT| PS4 would probably melt trying to do this

Oh my god I'm gonna jump off a bridge. I completed everything in the game, have 100% in the progress tracker but there is somehow this one suitcase icon still on the map. I can intrude the network again and see the case but can't scan it so it doesn't go away.

My OCD is through the roof. This is bugging me so much.

heh, I was just doing a fixer contract, cut off one of the guys chasing me after I killed the target, shot his car with the grenade launcher and happened to also kill an invader who was standing nearby trying to be sneaky.

Edit: It's working on my end, should be fixed then

He is, he swaps the cups constantly mid move.

That isn't cheating. It's pretty clear when he's doing so and to which cup the ball goes to based on which side of the cup he's lifting and which other cup happens to be near it.

I finished every round of all 5 levels with a 100% success rate. Wouldn't have been likely if the A.I. was actually cheating.

Motherfucker. As soon as I get off work and go home, first thing I do when I boot up the game is driving over there and shooting that son of a bitch in the face.

LMFAO!!! I was pretty amazed when I caught the AI being clever and swapping the ball around.

I got my revenge by playing thru every level and taking good dough!

You can help them out if you're in a gunfight. It also nets you positive notoriety.
I remember thinking that that was one of those scripted e3 moments specifically made for a demo. Extremely pleasant surprise when I found out that it was an actual move in the game.

Just got past the opening for PS4 and I'm playing on Realistic. Tried my first Fixer Contract and man this is hard outrunning cops. Does the game give you retroactive trophies for playing on harder difficulties?

From what I have read, there doesn't seem to be any trophies tied to difficulty.

I hope Ubisoft takes gamers' complaints seriously. It seems like the majority enjoy the core to this game but wish certain things were tweaked or included. If Watch Dogs 2 drops Xbox 360 and PS3 and really goes all out for the next gen consoles and PC, it could be really special.

Decryption online is messed up. Some of the time I'll have decrypted most of the file and got most kills yet I'll come in second place still for notoriety. It really pisses me off when my team loses and this happens as I get negative points when I should be ranked first. It's making it very hard to level up as I get higher. I was at 9500 earlier and I'm back to 9000 now as I need to win 3 times to every loss just to break even.

Anyone any idea how it's worked out?

The balance for points is sometimes fine, sometimes way off.

I just randomly had two trophies (Saturday Night Special and Magic Smoke) unlock after failing a side mission, despite the mission not even being remotely related to the trophies. The mission in question, Excessive Force, is pretty frustrating too because you need to take down a cop but not kill him, and he has a ton of cops escorting him. Whenever I try to take him down, I usually get destroyed by the cops because I don't want to kill them and tank my reputation.

Funniest shit I've read on NeoGaf in awhile lmao. Ahh, I remember I was playing yesterday and I had my sisters in the room because I wanted to see how'd they do with the shell game. Unfotunately I ended up losing $1000 on the last round of level 5 with all of us guessing wrong. I thought the guy tricked me and my immediate thought was to shoot the fucker but I remembered I like him and the game, plus I'm trying to keep my good reputation. Finally beat it though. Felt good

When you are invaded, you can get the location of the invader by simply searching for an online contract. The game won't start a search and tell you you are being invaded and it will show you the location of the invader.
This makes it way too easy to deal with invaders (and it can be impossible to successfully invade someone who is using this trick). It kind of ruins the idea of being invaded.

Here is a clip showing how fast an invasion can be over.

My gaming time is limited due to life's priorities. As such I rarely ever get more than an hour session at a time. My gaming is very much pick up and play when I have a moment to do so.

Most games I adapt to this reality and learn how to make the game work in my favor. It is not happening in Watch Dogs yet. I feel like there is just to much to do, and on top of that anything I do check out, I feel incredibly inadequate at attempting.

I just really have not gotten into a flow yet with the game, and it is incredibly frustrating.

So for those who have played the game I ask a simple question... Can/Should I just focus on the campaign in order get a groove going? Will I be ill equipped to do so if I do not do any of the side missions?

TIA to anyone that can provide some guidance. At this point in time I am not feeling the game at all and actually feeling like I wasted $60.

Act 1 unlocks quite a few things so finishing that might get you into a groove so more and more opens up to you and you get some cash in the bank to start buying weapons etc... and more hacks become available. Then focus on getting the CTOS towers and data centres to unlock all the regions and then everything is on your map maybe while doing some Car contracts for some more cash and criminal convoys for some nice mix up.

Its an open world game though. Its all about choice. personally anyone telling you how to enjoy an open world game kind of defeats the purpose of open world games.

Better to use focus atleast then the hacker doesn't know your onto him. You can then act dumb until the oppurtune moment.

(Trick is to press focus and if the game doesn't go into slow motion you know someones in your game)

If you can't get into a flow on your own I definitely recommend just playing through the campaign until you feel like doing anything else. I can spend an hour at a time just hacking other players if I'm not paying attention :p

he's saying it actually shows your their location on the map. pretty lame.

The hacker does not know that he has been found out though until you profile him. It is a major advantage to use focus, find out your being invaded, open your phone and then search for matchmaking and it will provide a circle of where the invader is and you can start profiling ASAP before he even has a chance to profile you.

Ah ok, I thought they received a notification when you got the your being invaded notification. Still like to wait for them to come to me :)

Trophies unlocking randomly have been known to happen when you get the ability lock glitch. Not saying you've got it, but you might want to make sure you haven't lost some things you've upgraded or purchased.

And if you're safe, make a backup save just in case.
