Because I can see the difference between good and bad acting. How can you not like Bjorn?

Was the "Hodor" twist then? It was the best moment of the series by far (imo that is).people shit on later seasons(rightfully so) but damn if Season 6 didn't have the most epic moments in the entire show
It's "cool" nowadays to downplay the gigantic impact Lost had on fantasy drama TV.How did you type all that and still manage to leave Lost off the list?
For me, Lost (up until the fourth season) was a genre definer for me. I’d never seen anything like it at that point, and haven’t seen anything come close to it since. I remember my girlfriend and I would watch it online the morning after it aired in America and join in on discussions about the episode on a Lost forum. Good times. But yes, Lost was leagues above the rest in the genre. As great as GOT used to be in the early seasons, it didn't reach Lost's levels of brilliance and poignancy. Again, my opinion.
I liked the show but I mostly agree. Only good actors were Ragnar, Lagertha, Rollo and King Ecbert (maybe Aslaug too). Most performances were mediocre at best, and then there were the cringe inducing ones like basically all of Ragnar's sons (Ivar at least tried, but he tried too hard at times). Most of the actors in Vikings can barely act, it was cringe to watch at times.
That's the damn truth. One of my favorite shows of the last several years. Easily the best thing Netflix has ever done.Just finished Ozark season 4 pt1, that’s a great show.
The Lost threads here on GAF were so good. Talking about the episodes week to week made it so much more fun.For me, Lost (up until the fourth season) was a genre definer for me. Hey, don't forget the upcoming Lord of the Rings show that definitely will not be a pale imitation of GoT and definitely won't take a giant dump all over Tolkien's legacy. The question isn't will there ever be a series as great as GOT but will there ever be a fantasy series as great!! Probably not
...with how bad it is - in large part because of it's terrible writing and identity politics obsessed revisionism. The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will blow you away
