I think a criminal record and/or very perverse habits are required to getting a news job nowadays...

I don't really recognize Steve and the girl though. I'm assuming they're either newer or I just didn't like them as much as Bill. Then again, it's been almost 5 years since the last time I would have been watching them while eating breakfast.

It's probably just a project video and never made it on air...or if it did, not many people saw it. When I was in college, I took a video class and we had to do a newscast, complete with a weather forecast. The guy that did the weather was much better than this guy, but we were going too fast and we told him to "stretch" for time. He started making stuff up about people's birthdays all across the country (pointing to different states on the map), etc. It was real, but not too many people saw it...and it was horrible.

The lady is Lori Stokes, and apparently she and Steve go together...there have been numerous times when the fact that they live together has been alluded to if not stated outright. And around the 35 sec. mark, you can hear Lori saying to Steve "Go baby, go...go", as if to move on with the segment and let it go. Btw, when did this air?

No, from what I heard Steve is a gay man with a record of stalking other men. One of them was actually a producer or something at the station. He also supposedly knowingly gave other men STDs...
