In Yorkshire 'leet' means 'crazy'
In Wales, the Welsh word 'cwtch' means to cuddle to a loved one. 'Pronounced as 'cutch'

I grew up in Yorkshire but from Wales so heard some weird things over the years.

We're not here to fuck spiders.

1. "Mate look at this"...Barry
"Barry, we are not here to Fuck Spiders, get back to it."...boss

2. "Do you think we can win the championship?"...Player
"Well I am not here to Fuck Spiders"...Coach

I'm born in Utah and words like "oh my heck" "flip" or "frick" are used instead of the explictives.

“T's” and “G's” are rarely pronounced. Layton is pronounced “Lay-un.” Mountain is said as, “Moun-un.”

"Sluffing it" Skipping class

"Biffed it"-tripped or fell down.

It's not where I'm from, but it always sounds weird to me when people say "finna."

"I'm fixing to/ I'm fixing ta" --> "I'm finna"

It's like "I'm gonna."

In NYC, I still having heard YERRRRR out in the wild. Maybe that's probably because I'm zoned out in my music whenever I'm on the train.

A weird one that we've always said is "on line" instead of "in line". I'm guilty of that one myself, old habits and such.

In the South they call all kinds of soda “Coke”, which is just bizarre if you think about it. Never got used to it.
I'm guilty of this. All not alcoholic carbonated drinks are coke. "What kinda coke ya want?"

Growing up we referred to cigarettes as 'boys'. Youd say something like "yo lemme hit that boy" and someone would let you smoke their cigarette or "bro lemme get a boy off you" "gonna go buy a pack of boys" etc

Other people called them "squares". Idk if that's a Detroit thing or what

Pfft, amateurs.

I am from Austria, and we have mountain villages that speak in ways that sound wholly alien, even compared the german dialect (Oberdeutsch) we are speaking in most Austrian regions and Bavaria.

Gert licker - really good
Guss on with e - don't be stupid
Showner - contraction of shown to the bone, can also be lengthened into shown to the bone to the bone shown badly. A childhood humiliation.
