I didn't suggest Ty4on used anything, I just told Mike_Hawk what happened in Cthulhu. There are a myriad other things I could think of, for example a town vigilante who has a 50% chance of killing and a 50% chance of "cursing" someone.
Do you remember Retro's Blarg roleclaim in GAFia Mafia?
I also think that now that we have established that this is most likely not faked, we move on and leave this distraction behind.

If he's telling the truth and we let him live, that is a question for tomorrow. He didn't use his power yesterday so we just have our one lynch today.
I'm at a crossroads, if scum have a roleblocker, we are wasting our time with this, we let him live, they RB him tonight, we re-visit this tomorrow and eventually we are wasting a lynch on him because we are going to think he is lying. Scum may also just let him do it, which is all well and good for us not wasting time on him, but this early on two lynches might help scum more than us. Personally though, I am all for a double lynch day, we have no shortage of suspects and cleaning up can be good if done correctly.
The one thing that bothers me the most about your whole reaction to the Haiku is that you were so gung-ho on targeting him immediately. I don't quite like that, if you're concerned it was a lie that's well and good, but it's also an easily verifiable lie to check up on tomorrow. I fail to see why you were so hung up on it possibly being a lie that quickly.
As Sorian said, it's all for tomorrow. And I don't want to present an ordered list of people we plan to kill this early on. It'd help scum narrow down their night kill choices too much by showing them who they can leave for town to kill during the day. Focus on who we kill today for now.
I agree but then, what power would John have? I figured he would be in it because you can't do Night Vale without John Peters but I can't think of anything mafia-like that he could do. I guess I would be expecting something with imaginary vegetables but that doesn't seem to be the case here at all.

TL21xx something we will be talking about all day, I'm sure. Mike is suss as fuck but there is a vote on him so we won't have issue keeping him engaged. Ferret is still high suspect for me as well but his back and forth with Boo Boo is still in progress. So I'll go

I would say one of them flipping scum would clear the other for me but I notice amongst the posturing that Scrafty has not placed a vote on Pop at all during the entirety of this game though she has suspected him. It might be something worth following up with but we'd have to see a flip first and I find Pop to be more sus than Scrafty.
For detailed reasoning, my issue is that Pop dogged Scrafty from the opening moments of day 1, held fast to it for the longest time, and then near the end of the day phase decided to back pedal and start a lynch train on a completely player instead. This would have saved Darklighter, if successful, who we now know was a vanilla town which doesn't really make much sense. Why bother trying to do this? What was the motivation? I did think of a scenario where scum maybe thought that Stanley was a PR of some sort because all of his posts after the game started were playing a character but would that be worth outing yourself randomly? It was general scummy behavior though and I am going to place a vote now so that we have another avenue of discussion. Things stagnating this early is not going to help us any.

Possibly but with talking a lot being his only claim to fame, rallying people to a cause is just as likely.
A dangerous thought because you always need to remember that sometimes the gamerunner just doesn't include someone to mess with players and then that name is given to the scum chat so that they have a safe fake role to use. If there is a real John Peters they should counter claim IMO but we can't hold our breath that we'll get an out that easily.

Good point, but I also feel his claim is easy enough to verify. Is it frustrating he forgot to use it last night? Very. Is that odd? Yeah slightly. Is he backed into a corner if he is lying? Definitely. It's simply too easy to prove he's lying if he is.
Is it easy to verify though? If scum can role block and they feel like making us waste a day, they just role block him tonight.
And if they do it this early we gain concrete information about their abilities. Knowledge has value.

We'd be sitting at day 4 with two town kills by lynching (Darklighter on day 1 and TL21xx on day 3) if we are lucky but more like three town kills by lynching if we don't pull something today. I'm not saying it's a bad idea to let him actually do this tonight like he should have last night but I'm trying to talk through the pros and cons so I'm going to devil's advocate anyone who brings up a point.

And think it was royal who mentioned cthulu one.

Fair point. I think there's a valid argument for both sides here when you look at it from your way. I don't really think I have a strong preference on this, other than I'm not deciding now. I'm curious to hear more from some other people on other things today. I gotta figure out my order first.

It's not the fact that you didn't believe in a Haiku role at first, I just don't like your overall reactions to things. The Seath "gambit" yesterday, your reaction to the Haikus today and in general the fact that you didn't bark on single players directly read odd in combination.
I also want to point out that Scrafty has barely shown any intitiative but rather parroted (and still parrots) other players, especially Sorian. It looks like she is proactive but in reality there aren't really many original thoughts.
