im stumped.

well, looks like Nintendo decided to hold all their cards in the end. i guess i can understand not giving any demonstrations until later, but not showing off the third party support was a big mistake i think, considering how strong it is. this was definitely a last minute change.

and for the record, that wasn't the Retro footage that i saw.

having said all of that, im not worried about Nintendo's future in the slightest, but they defeinitely dropped the ball with that press conference.

in any case, i don't know what to say, i'd give an apology, but the rug was pulled beneath my feet as well.

yeah its really disappoint, but honestly, where did he ever lie? I can't think of one thing that he said would be at E3 that wasn't. It would have been nice to see some footage of anything, but he never said it would be there. Just that it exists.

It's cool with me man, I know you didn't deliberately try to mislead people. I'm extremely disappointed with Nintendo that they didn't show more of Metroid Prime 3. Do you have any clue as to whether the reason that they delayed the conference start was so they could pull stuff at the last minute? I know that's been speculated, but do you know that's what they did for sure?

I'm still excited about Nintendo, although it's been dampened significantly.

I think your sources are way off on third party support. They could have given us the silent treatment and said nothing or given us one or two huge names, but they announce ONE game, and that is FF:CC. Makes no sense. At all.

ugh, before this conference I said to a friend "Not early adopting either of the first 2 due to wall guy and dualshocker 3 (tm drinky I think) but given my love for the nintendo games, they have to disprove the Revolution to me" and then they didn't show it.

I mean, it looks nice but let me get this straight, they didn't show any footage? AT ALL? WHAT THE HELL. Reggie said that it wasn't it's coming out party, I thought that microsofts shocker would have made them a bit more bold, sounds like they actually removed things from the presentation instead...... confidence minus 1 half.

Drinky, I'm confused. Where is one instance where Johnny lied? He said Metroid Prime 3 would be shown, and it was. He hinted towards other things, but as we've seen with Microsoft's conference, things can change at the last minute. Something clearly prompted Nintendo to sweep things under the rug for now. Not Johnny's fault. He is at the very least a trustworthy person from what I've seen.
