Just so Banjo can be mashed into Kart games and Sports games? Poor thing. I would rather he be in limbo than watching Nintendo pillage his poor corpse.
At least he'd finally be in a Kart game like he was going to be!

It's because indie games don't count. And PS4/PC games don't count, only X1/PC games are "exclusive". Also Knack is barely a game so that doesn't count. MLB is on PS3 so that doesn't count. Who even plays KZ so let's take that out. So yea, PS4 literally only has inFamous.
Anyways I agree with others, a good apology will go a long way. And none of that "consumers don't understand" BS

nothing because nine times out of ten there will be a PC port of it
case in point Titanfall
I'm not saying Quantum Break doesn't look interesting, I'm just saying that it's a shooter.
Touché!No more complaining.
That seems really odd to me. The company specialises in cloud processing, has less than ten employees, and of those ten employees that are on LinkedIn none of them are designers/artists.
edit: OK, I'm now in full GAF detective mode. Just looked up some of their employees' twitter accounts. They're all following TONS of accounts held by Microsoft Studios and Epic Games employees and pretty much nothing else. Are we looking at Crackdown 3 running in Unreal Engine 4 potentially?
edit 2: oh, and a bunch of their employees are from Realtime Worlds, original developers of Crackdown. This is very, very interesting...
Very interesting. Nice finds.
EDIT: I had my doubts about that being legit, but damn if you didn't just pretty much confirm that he was telling the truth.
Actually, I think you should start a thread on this. It is good stuff.
I already own an XBO so they already got me. But there are some things they definitely should do.
-lower the price to $400. I'm going to go against popular opinion and say they should absolutely keep Kinect included. It is the one thing that truly differentiates them from the competition. Remove that and all you have left is a less powerful PS4
-Remove the paywall. Stop making it a selling point for Live and make it one for your console instead. Maybe it diminishes the value of Live slightly, but it adds value to the console itself.
-Games. I really want to see more 1st party games. Money hatting is only ever a temporary solution. And time delayed content does nothing for me because all my third party games are purchased on my PS4. Put that money into your own studio's. Sony doesn't have huge blockbusters but they do have a lot of unique titles that sell well and appeal to a wide range of people.
-image. At E3, they need to get up on stage, humbled and admit they made mistakes much like I remember Tretton doing a few years ago after the PS3's disastrous start. And then start showing some goodwill towards their supporters. If Sony can comeback from where they were, I think MS can too.
I know I didn't add much new, but those are what I feel are the most important things they can do right now. Long term obviously there is more but that is a good start anyway.
Yeah. I'll never forgive that guy! Serious! I've been ranting and raving about him for months! My post couldn't be any more serious!I don't know Mr. Penello cause so much damage to you. That grudge...
I know right. Just look at all their games for the first 6 months, all Fable, Halo, Gears, and Forza.
Your opinion, but 399 without kinect is still a weaker console for the same price of the ps4. Imo it should be 349 or 299 without kinect. That would be fair.- $399, no Kinect
- Conker
- Banjo
Amazing.Nothing.
It's like someone telling you "hey, I wanted to rape your sister and kill your family but now I don't want anymore, let's become friends."
Not going to happen.
Honestly, MS needs to stop using damn middleware (particularly UE4) in the first party development. It comes across as lazy and of their having low standards for their first party content. I get that middleware is awesome for third party developers but I kind of feel that first parties should be building their own platform-tailored engines. That seems really odd to me. The company specialises in cloud processing, has less than ten employees, and of those ten employees that are on LinkedIn – none of them are designers/artists.

Nothing as I'm sticking with one platform as I don't game enough to justify more than that these days.
Ditch Kinect, drop the price to 349 and I'm in to play some Halo 2 anniversary because atm my console MP life barely exists. (I have PS4, paitently waiting and enjoying Infamous though)
The drop won't happen. Which is sad. H2 had the best mp in the series.
Bro. BRO.
Do not toy with my heart like that.
I fully expect them to drop the price. They'd be pretty stupid not to.
...Whoa.
I concur. Somebody make a thread.
Of course, I could probably be swayed by much less than my unrealistic list. But if MS actually did all of the above at E3, then they would definitely get a sale from me! I definitely wouldn't be like some other people who would inevitably move goal posts and say, "Not gonna buy one until it's $49!" Nope. I'd definitely stick to my word if they met all the points in my list. Honestly. I'm not Penelloing you.
- $99
- New Mother game by Itoi
- Mehdi and Penello doing the bow of apology on stage in their underwear, with Penello specifically addressing GAF. Some points they'd apologize for are insisting the DRM backlash was due to poor messaging and not because it fucking sucked, attempts to confuse/fool customers into thinking Xbone is on par performance-wise with PS4, generally using FUD to deceive customers, Power of the Cloud, etc..
- Fortaleza Glasses are real and actually work as well as their fake demos would have you believe. They're also bundled with Xbone at the $99 price above.
- New slim model with built-in power supply, full BC with 360 games, user-replaceable 1TB SSD, and full compatibility with previous gen peripherals including Logitech G27 and arcade sticks. And all for $99 of course.
- Drop paywall for everything except Xbox TV programming, since I don't give a shit about that.
- Various other things I'm certainly forgetting
virtual fighter
Virtual Fighter.
Virtua Fighter 6
Virtua Fighter 6

Some people are fine with access to a couple exclusives and the multiplatform gamesPeople saying "Nothing" are either weird ideologues or are not being honest.

In this thread you can make up your own hypothetical scenario where Microsoft funds exclusive sequels to your 3 favorite third-party games of all time. Or makes the dream game that you have always wanted, but never seemed commercially feasible. Or creates a cross-buy program with the PC. Or purchases your favorite developer. Or announces a full-body VR suit. None of those things would be enough to buy an XB1? Nothing would be enough?
Look, I understand the indignation over restricted used game sales and requiring internet connections for single player. I'm glad the community pushed back. But ultimately there comes a point where content trumps politics for me. The content is why I am in this hobby to begin with. If Microsoft shows off this generation's equivalent of Mario 64, they could put ten Kinects in the box, change all the system icons to NFL team logos, and replace the boot up screen with a personal insult directed at my mother, and I would still be lining up for it.
I'm gonna call bullshit on people saying absolutely nothing will get them to buy an Xbone. My post was obviously unrealistic, but tell me any of you honestly wouldn't bite if my entire list came true. I mean, come on! $99 to see Mehdi and Penello apologizing to the world and GAF on stage, in their underwear! Oh, and you'd get all the other stuff I listed, too.
Seriously, though, the question is, "What could MS show at E3 to get you to buy an Xbone?" It's not, "What could MS realistically show at E3 to get you to buy an Xbone?" Use your imaginations.
Okay, I'll start you off with a single sure-fire winner instead of a long list.
- Every Xbone sold between E3 until the end of the year comes with a $1000 Amazon gift card.
