I used like GTA in PS2 games because they give you mission like kill the target but you had total freedom on how go about killing it.

But in current R* they trying so hard to be cinematic that you have less freedom in missions and you have to follow it exactly to letter or you fail the mission and its fucking sucks.

They make super detail world but in my option they just not all that fun to play them.

....the multiple protagonists and the way you could change between them was very innovative, right? yet the mission desing was mostly the same as before with weird limitations in the way you could engage with them....

could GTA VI benefit by having elements of an inmersive simulator (in the way missions are structure)

Either way i have never being interested in Rockstar games.

I cry about Xbox and hate PlayStation.
actual single player content.
like constant update of random encounters.

im not really fond of the "huge map is pointless for single player, it is for multiplayer only"

GTA V has a huge map, but nothing else to do, because i know the devs designed the huge map mainly for multiplayer purpose only.

And please remove the realistic movement, pick up item crap from RDR2, it makes everything so slow.

Lazlow, but funnier than GTA 6
Buildings you can go in
No infantile Trevor nonsense. Keep Steven Ogg though, get a better writer as he's a good actor.

In general though I'd just prefer it if it kept the overall tone of the older games and less of the over the top infantile crass nonsense of 5. Make the jokes for actual adults again.

I would like to have a character that i care about like Niko and DLCs like GTA4 got.

I'm playing it mainly because Miami setting is just too cool. Hope the multiple missions are interesting.

Their usual mastery with open worlds with max payne 3 combat mechanics and at least 30-40% of less scripted missions, i'm ok if a lot of them are super stricted to serve a story\cinematic purpose, but gimme a good portions of them more similar to gta3 where you can solve stuff with imaginative thinking.

And for the love of god, use the full suite of euphoria engine, i don't wanna wait modders on pc to unlock the full potential.

Oh and possibly not woke af.

robust character customizer, good destruction physics, good AI responding to chaos the player caused, dismemberment, gore, pc version day 1 with robust mod support. Less focus on story or just eliminate the story entirely and just focus gameplay and roleplay of you being the gang and rise to top. Oh and harem, prostitutes and porn animation too!

Combat that is fluid and modern, and not sluggish and ass.
So the exact same combat from Gta v then?

Just using the modern fps control scheme, with expert aiming (no autoaim)?

I think lol really never checked the options. Game already plays great.

You don't even have to tap X to run. But ppl are too daft to check the settings.

Im sure we'll have an amazing storyline, but I'd like to see a bit more smaller crimes, and slowly climbing the crime ladder.

In GTA it seems that you rob a gas station and then suddenly its a heist, I want to see the characters struggle a bit before making it.

Nah, we have to move on. Better ragdoll and driving physics than in GTA IV would be appreciated.
GTA VI will probably have the middleground in driving physics between GTA IV and V.
GTA V is far too arcadey. Controlling vehicles mid-air - seriously, what’s that about?

GTA IV had much more interesting and impactful car crashes, as well as shootout outcomes that felt devastating.

Of course, GTA VI doesn’t need to replicate GTA IV’s physics 1:1, but it should use them as a foundation to create a game that feels impactful, especially in the two things you do 90% of the time: shooting and driving. Take the shooting mechanics from Max Payne 3 and the driving physics from GTA IV, and build something with real weight. GTA V failed in that regard and ended up feeling cheap.

A lot of things, but to start I would love then to return to physics of GTAIV
I still have a blast playing that game.

In fact they should go the IV way, more serious story, fantastic dlc single player, great map, big amount of side activities etc.

Driving through the map of GTA V with GTA IV physics would take too long, they had to tighten up the driving in GTA V. I personally loved the handling.
If anything i had to complain about in GTA V it would be almost no sidethings to do, like stealing cars for Brucie.

If I remember correctly, they adjusted the physics and driving mechanics of GTA V because the engine was already pushed to its limits on the Xbox 360 and PS3. You could also see it in the framerate - during fast driving, it often dropped to 20-30 FPS. There simply weren't enough resources to fully implement complex physics calculations with the limited processing power anymore.

The damage model is a complete step backward, as it's no longer calculated in real-time. Driving in GTA V is far too easy. Sure, many people like it because learning something difficult can be tedious at first, but driving in GTA IV is still a lot more fun for me, even today. There are always new and absurd situations, something that’s missing from GTA V.

Whatever, but i think you will be pleasently surprised from the GTA VI driving physics as i assume they will be a middleground between GTA IV and V. Thats the next logical step.
More resources according to your statement are also available this time.

That would at least be an improvement over GTA V.
