Sakura Taisen on Sega Saturn.

I know very little about the console and its library, so all the stuff I'm playing is utterly new to me. It's hilarious.

You have eng translation or you understand japanese language? Just curious, because I get my saturn a few days ago and looking what can I play (love strategy rpgs)

Currently working through Yakuza 0 and finally got into Fallout 4 after bouncing off it. Tbh it seems more like Fallout 3.5 to me but that's fine. My VR gaming has been somewhat curtailed by the arrival of two adorable kittens who are far more interesting. Pre-ordered Theme Hospital 2 (aka two point hospital) so no doubt I'll be fixing people's light-headedness in the near future. Once I get back on VR I'll no doubt be back to lots of iRacing and Assetto Corsa, and punching people in the face in Superhot VR.

Xenogears. I'm about 10 hours in, but it's quickly become one of my favorite JRPGs on the PS1. The combat mechanics are a lot of fun, the story is great (imagine a traditional JRPG, mecha anime, and various religious books mashed together). Only complaint so far is that the dungeon design kinda sucks.

What a great game.

No spoilers, but be prepared to long long readings in disk 2.

The game had to be cut short due to budget constraints, so gameplay was limited in order to finish the story.

Made a crappy phPBB forum once ... once.
After getting the platinums on all the Dark Souls games, I’ve gone for something less stressful so Borderlands 2 on PS4.

If you want to play MOBA games, I would recommend Dota 2 because it has constant patch updates every 2 weeks that changes the meta of the game. Also, if you would want to play a hard core RPG game, you might want to try Black Desert Online. The graphics and audio is nice and also a lo0t of in-game features for you to explore. As of now the game is free to access for 2 weeks so try it out and check it while you can.

After I finished the original Far Cry yesterday (still a great game btw but the difficulty is insane) I'll be wrapping up Super Mario 3D Land until Spiderman arrives. 3D Land is amazing with it's 3D usage and level design. Shame it's waaaaaayyyyy to easy. Breezing through the game so far. Still looking forward to every level to see just with what Nintendo came up with.

Now that Halo:MCC has finally been fixed. I have been playing a lot of multiplayer to make up for loss time. I also plan to do the cross game playlist to get the achievements.

Once I finish that, I plan to play all of Far Cry 5 DLC's and finally, finish off Wolfenstien 2: TNC.

I aim to to do this before RDR2 comes out.

Infamous Second Son

and Ill take COD WW2 campaign for a spin again and delete it cuz I know i wont ve touching it once BLOPS 4 comes out.

Finally advanced in Hollow Knight. Spent like 2 hours just to figure out where the heck I was supposed to go. And it was right in front of my nose the whole time. Because I forgot, that in this genre, when you get an item or ability, it usually means you can progress forward. And that´s true, to a certain degree. You can reach new areas, but when you have accessed that new area you are greeted with another "fuck you, you can´t come here yet" obstacle and then it´s back to square one again, trying to get to another previous area you couldn´t visit before. Only to be greeted with another middle finger. But this time it wasn´t any of that, it was a goddamn mushroom I had to stab with my nail so I could jump higher into the air. And for all the frustration I had trying to figure out my next route, I actually smiled when I finally discovered it, because I love when developers minimize the handholding.

I’ve been playing The Messenger on Switch for almost 7 hours now. I usually wait for a sale, but there was something about this game I couldn’t resist. Ever since it was first revealed, I had a feeling I’d like it. It’s funny because I am usually not big on many indie games.

Let me tell you...I haven’t been able to wipe the smile from my face for the last 7 hours. This game seems to be the perfect blend of old school fun platforming (think NES style) with just enough challenge to be fun but fair.

I know we hear that a lot nowadays with retro-style indie games, but these guys seem to have found that authentic feeling and I haven’t even reached the “16bit” stages yet.

I wasn’t happy with the Aussie pricing for it, but I’m glad I bit the bullet now. If you are like me and you are wary of these types of games because they never quite feel right, fear not. If you like classic Ninja Gaiden or Mega Man, then I think you will enjoy this a lot.

EDIT: I forgot to mention the music. When I first heard it in the trailers, I actually thought it was a bit basic and meh, but wow, it is fantastic! Really catchy chiptune music that has me humming along to it and gets stuck in my head, lol.

Waiting for DQ11 so playing abit of F1 2018, Killing Floor 2, Overwatch and a little team fortress 2 but boy, they have butchered team fortress 2's sense of community with the matchmaking. What a shame.

And why or why not would you recommend someone else to play it?

Please do not post unmarked spoilers.

I am currently playing Wolfenstein 2 on Xbox One X.

I would recommend playing it. It has surprised me with great storytelling and a mature but coherent plot. The visuals are stunning to me, and it is loaded with interesting personalities. Off the wall but good.

I do not recommend it if younger. The game is very mature in its themes and plots. This is definitely not a game for younger, not matured kids.
Played games my entire life. I have never been so drained than playing the courthouse level! The scene after that made me feel a little whacked out for like a week.

Currently I'm playing various CoD's, ME: Andromeda, Paladins, Horizon, Octopath Traveler, DKC Tropical Freeze, DKC Returns, and want to continue on Pokémon X so I can start Moon. Trying to plan for the fall of what to buy.

Finished Assassin's Creed Origins. Really enjoyed it. Great move forward for the whole IP. I've recently completed Unity and some areas were better in that, but as a whole Origins is easily the most fun I've had with the franchise since Black Flag. I even finished most of the "find treasure/note" activities. THat's how much I liked it. AC Odyssey is day1 for me now. Especially since it's done by Unity devs, so I'm interested if they will be able to do dream scenario of mixing Unity and Origins' strenght.

Now I'm playing Yakuza 0 and I'm in total love. The story, the atmosphere, the awesome craziness and swag, the combat system and the open world. I love small open worlds that are detailed, but petite enough that I get to explore every nook and cranny and revisit areas countless times. It's interesting contrast with AC Origins, which obviously had ten times bigger budget, but because of how the world was designed it never felt anywhere near as much as a real places as Kamurocho does. More games should take this aproach, especially since it's getting more and more expensive to make games.
I really hope after Kimiwami they will bring other Yakuza games to PC. Seems like they're in perfect position to do so, with Kimiwami 2 and 3,4,5 Remasters, as well as 6 being on new engine. I want it all! Bring that bakumatsu spin-off too :D

Agreed Yakuza 0 is lovely, I've been enjoying it a lot. Different to my usual bag but I'm having a blast with it.

Thanks for this! Been trying to get back into Unity too and man is that game long! Need to go through syndicate which I may just golden path it and hop on to origins. I've been curious about the yakuza games, I'll have to check out zero.

Unity is IMO pretty underrated. The setting just incredible. It's smaller than typical world in AC, but feels more detailed and alive. It;s also filled with genuinelly interesting places and stories. It helps that French revolution is suich a wonderful setting and because it moves through stages as you play the campaign it creates ilussion of real city.
Also, I enjoyed how much each core system improved. The stealth, the parkeur, the combat. Combat-wise now they completely abandoned this system in Origins, but I wish they kep the much superior parkour. I also loved the Hitman-like assasination missions, where each mission was essentially a min-sandbox, with many different routes and aproeaches. It didn;t reach Hitman levels of course, but it's something this series should explore further. Also liked the mini investigations with pointing the suspects and despite being one of the early games of this gen, when everything is working properly and you're in the screets with the crowds it's still the best looking open world game.
Game had it's problems. The removal of some combat moves hurt it. Removing whistleing was also a dumb move. But overall I liked Unity. But I realize a large part of it is the setting. The Dead Kings DLC to Unity wasn;t anywhere near as good because it left Paris. And Syndicate, despite some improvements also didn't measure up because the way London was done just paled in comparision to Unity;s Paris.

Demon's Souls.

I was scratching my head as to why I could not get the "Friend's Ring" from the monumental to get the final "Rogues Trophy" for the Plat with PWCT (you have to be precise without online now).

Then I figured it out after some searching and lots of cross reading. Thankfully someone web-archived Atlus's little "wiki FAQ" on Character Tendency. And I lost 20% by whacking that asshole Patches the Hyena. No other wiki mentioned he impacts Character Tendency but the OG FAQ (that is now offline) did.

So I reloaded my save which was at the end game, and replayed it again (damn old school protected saves that have 24 hour cloud download timers and cannot be USB backed up). Just need to go to NG+ and kill one Pure Black World Tendency phantom to be 100% PWCT for the ring. Then do the Mephistopheles quest again for the "Foes Ring" and finally Platted fully offline after 9 years. "pie_tears_joy:

What a damn good game that still that holds up very well after all of these years.

Dark Souls 2: SotFS on PS4 again. Figured I'd revisit it after platinuming the DS1 remaster, and I have to say its so much better than its predecessor its kinda shocking. Easily the strongest game in the Dark Souls series in my estimation, even if its less than flawless in some respects, its sheer scope and density of content and ideas puts it on top.

After I plat Demon's Souls after all these years, and already platted Bloodborne, I am going to mess around with Nioh I think which I still have unopened.

Then I will most definitely buy the Dark Souls collection that includes all 3 that was just announced for October release. Excited to play them for the first time.

Divinity Original Sin 2. I have put aside gaming since January. Nothing interested me. I could not get into any game. Since yesterday, I have been spending all my free time on this gem, this masterpiece. Highly recommended if you like deep, interesting, rewarding experiences. Wow!

Currently going ham on Diablo 3. Crawling my way through the meta end game with my seasonal Witch Doctor. Haven’t played this class since vanilla and I’m a big fan of this Gargantuan/Fetish build I’m using. Just need my BiS weapon before I can really start pushing those greater rifts.

Also playing a lot of MH but mostly just the weekly bounties.

Nioh is great, but an absolute nightmare for completionists because its so damn long with all the dlc content. Very good game but it is absolutely Souls + Diablo, so expect to deal with literally hundreds of pieces of gear. Its actually a little off-putting at first because you need to learn how to handle the mountains of loot it showers you with. But if you persevere, there is a lot of depth to its many systems and it has hands down the best ng+ implementation I've ever come across because you can simply toggle between the difficulty caps once you have them unlocked.

Nioh was clearly a real labor of love on the part of Team Ninja, and if it clicks with you, you will get literally hundreds of hours of fun from it. Its a bit of a shame that its kinda been saddled with the "Samurai Souls" tag, which gives it less credit than it fairly deserves because it really is a lot more (in every sense) than that, and it has a very distinct feel in a gameplay sense to differentiate it from From Software's product.

I am so stoked to give it a go. I messed around with the beta 2 years ago, and enjoyed every bit of it, so I an definitely looking forward to this! Then there is now a sequel coming, so we all have something to look forward to in the future with this new franchise!

I sat a handful of titles down just so I could play through Scenario B with Claire in Resident Evil 2 on my Vita. That was great. I use to rent this game a lot many years ago. I finished Leon's Scenario A a couple years ago. I want to freshen up my memory of everything before I see it in the remake. It makes me really want the set of physical keys in the limited edition set.

I started Dino Crisis again and Threads of Fate. I never got that far in Threads of Fate. I heard it was good and I owned it physically over a decade ago. I was always off put by its "cute" and childish characters, but that shouldn't be that offputting. I'm trying to replay a bunch of my PS1 digital games before Spider-Man comes out. I also want to play through the games I've either forgotten about or some I never finished.

I put about 5 hours into Chrono Trigger on iOS. I try to play through it once every other year because it's such a wonderful well rounded RPG with likable characters. The iOS version isn't bad. I went out to a state park with little to no electronics and CT was a perfect fix mentally.

I also went back to Dragon Ball FighterZ because I haven't played any of the new characters and I own the deluxe edition. It's been a lot of fun getting to do combos and so forth.

A few other games I started are Onimusha Warlords on PS2 and King's Field 2. I don't want to dislike King's Field 2, but it makes me want to use a guide because of how premature the mechanics were at the time.

I also played some Nioh. I want to start a new game, but I feel as if it's a lot more work than any Souls game. I can replay a Souls game, but Nioh is a little rough. I like it, but then the design of the sub missions and the way you have to stay on top of using buffs to progress bugs me in ways I cannot explain to myself.

I have a lot of time invested in my first character, but I feel as though I could have done better faster had I realized what to do early on. I enjoy the difficulty, but there comes a point where the buffs matter more than actual fighting through it. I hate how little damage I do later on in the game without a stupid buff. I am not entirely sure what kind of build would work and reassigning all my stats at this point feels like a lot of work. I really hope Nioh 2 makes progressing feel good without using so many buffs. That and the level design starts to feel the same for a while.

I agree. I love the end mission glitches climbing the tower and things like that, pretty fun. Every era had their icons but I feel like napoleon is easier to follow than the hundred important founders during the colonies. Last time like this was da Vinci. Felt like in 3 there was just way too much reading trying to remember each person's importance while learning their role to the game lore. The mini investigations seem like busy work but when you get into it you want to finish it and correctly before moving on. The dlc is decently fun so far but the separate map doesn't feel very good. Better to use the og map and just add missions there. But this game definitely seems longer than others. When I was really going hard to the time I stopped was only sequence 6. Hopped back on went hard for a couple more days, sequence 9 out of 12 or 13. I do like the ui improvements of unity though, unlocking and buying armor/weapons/clothes/abilities.

Just finished Prey. What a great game!

Spent more than 32 hours with many subquests completed. It reminds me a lot of Deus Ex HR/MD, but it has its own personality.
I would suggest this game to everyone that enjoys good story with multple ways to complete tasks. Oh and it's difficult, especially at the beginning..

Now I've just started SW Battlefront II, the campaign. Nice graphics :D

I don't think it's an original game but it's incredibly fun. I played Axiom Verge and Iconoclasts prior to playing and it blows both out of the water.

I rather bounced off Prey - in part because of the sheer awfulness of the repetitive enemies, difficulty spikes, etc in what I presume is the early game. In the end it's just another shooter as far as I can tell.
