has to be on either Netflix, Amazon prime, Hulu, HBO max or showtime

Netflix:
The Platform (2019) - not strictly "horror," but good
Gerald's Game - see above

Amazon:
28 Days Later - if you somehow haven't seen it by now
Midsommar - over-long and kinda muddled, but has some seriously disturbing scenes

Hulu:
Cabin in the Woods - if you haven't seen it yet, don't look up any info on it beforehand

Showtime:
Paranormal Activity

why would you do this to me?

Netflix:
The Platform (2019) - not strictly "horror," but good
Gerald's Game - see above comment

Amazon:
28 Days Later - if you somehow haven't seen it by now

Hulu:
Cabin in the Woods - again, not really horror. If you haven't seen it yet, don't look up any info on it beforehand

Showtime:
Paranormal Activity

I’ve seen all of these 😕
Pet on Amazon Prime

Trust me and enjoy the ride.

Pet it is

#Alive. It's the first good zombie movie that actually shows what 90% of people would really do in a zombie apocalypse - barricade themselves in their homes and desperately ration all the remaining food and water they have left for as long as they can. Have to watch with subtitles but it's a great movie, pretty sure it's still on Netflix

looking for another recommendation for tonight

Report back
it was fun, if you liked this movie you might enjoy American Mary

plot isn't similar, but for some reason American Mary came to mind while I was watching Pet

City of the Living Dead
seen it, great flick

watched it last week, I enjoyed it

Amazon Prime:
They Look Like People - low-key, but I remember thinking it was solid; internet says it's polarizing

haven't seen this. might go with this for tonight.

I have like 5 hours to decide so open to any other recommendations

I liked it, thanks for the recommendation

lead chick was really cute too

might try to watch one more scary movie before bed, assuming I can find one quickly. It’s already 1:30 am

Not gonna check if it's on any of those streaming services, but I'd recommend Possessor for something a bit... different.

Watched this last weekend. I liked the movie, but it was certainly trippy. And how messed up for the peoples bodies they take over lol

If you're sticking to things you can watch on your streaming subs, all I'm finding that I've liked are understated indie slow-burns, lol

Hulu:
Let the Right One In - the 2008 original, not the Chloe Moretz remake. Has one of my favorite scenes ever in a movie
Thelma

Netflix:
The Blackcoat's Daughter

I heard bad things about this film. Plot sounds interesting so I might give it a go

I plan on watching this soon, I’m curious because I’m a huge fan of his father’s films

Seen and enjoyed both let the right one in and Thelma.

I’ll check out the blackcoat’s daughter tonight.

Since those that took me up on Pet and enjoyed it, I'll lay down another recommendation... This time on Netflix.

"Would You Rather"

You're welcome.
