Oh man.
- Doesn't support controllers.
- But you can't input text with the keyboard, lol (it's done with the arrow keys).
- It's a game that runs on Wii and DS but has nasty lagging / frame rate issues on some modern PCs that can run the sequel without issues.
Bioshock 2 : nearly unplayable on W7, works (apparently) fine on Vista...
And yeah, GTA IV as said...
hey man
all I know is I cant fucking change the real resolution on Dark Souls
that's pretty damn bad on my book
Oh Salsa knows about that :3
Not the worst one but Sonic Adventure DX on Steam (not the 2004 PC version). Loads of framerate issues, no wide screen support... and there's probably more but I didn't dig deep enough into it. It's god damn awful. The 2004 PC version by comparison has none of those issues.
Oh and the framerate is so bad in the Steam port that even the character select screen suffers low framerate. Seriously, the FUCKING character select has bad framerate!! How did they managed to do that?! It's unbelievable.
For comparison's sake, my PC can run Sonic Generation at max settings in 60fps and that's a 2011 game compared to a 1999 game! What the heck, SEGA?

Nothing beats Street Fighter II PC version.

Saints Row 2? What's wrong with it? It's imperfect but I was shocked when I played it that it was considered so awful, Dark Souls is way worse. It's honestly not that bad.

I stopped playing it, because the port sucks so much undead ass. I can run a lot of games at 1080p with most, if not all, settings at Ultra. Dead Island only runs playable at 720p. Doesn't matter what settings i reduce to medium/low, at 1080p i get around 20 fps.
If i had known beforehand, i would have gotten a console version.
Really? I have it installed and played it for a little bit and it seemed fine, but I've admittedly not gotten that far.
You know you have a bad port when you have to play the Wii version of RE4 on Dolphin in order to get good mouse controls.

I could at least launch that game and do a couple missions before it decided to crap out.
My vote is for Dead Space. Ran at 30 FPS regardless of what I did (and that should not have been happening), had an unskippable opening cutscene (that's a sin on all consoles), and I couldn't even get more than 10 minutes in, because a door was bugged and would open, but the space was still blocked so I was trapped in that room.
Worthless.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (NES) was ported to PC (DOS) and was impossible to complete because they made a ceiling too low to make a mandatory jump.

Turn off in game V-sync, run D3DOverrider. That should at least fix the 30fps limit and shitty mouse input lag problem.

Kind of surprised he didn't point out the lack of online... I think that was one of the issues of the PC version? Correct me if I'm wrong.Absolutely not true.
I disagree that Dark Souls is a bad port.
Even if you completely ignore the fact that there is an easy fix for the resolution, the game is still surprisingly optimized and doesn't crash.
The only real issue is GFWL.
Wow.
Did they eventually patch it?
The DOS Mega Man games were original titles though, not ports...Thanks for reminding me of DOS Mega Man.
You people who think Dark Souls is the worst PC port are delusional. I wish I lived in a world where that was the worst port on PC. I'd be celebrating.
The only problem it had was the lack of graphics options, plus the KB/M implementation. Controller is a way superior to play the game anyway.Without DSFix it's an absolute disaster.
That was my vote. It's beyond bad. Thanks for reminding me of DOS Mega Man.
