What songs are you ashamed of enjoying?

I'm ashamed to like some Creed songs, considering just about everyone hates them.

That's all I can think of at the moment, actually. I think liking some Creed songs is bad enough.

I'm not ashamed of enjoying anything, if I liked the worse song on the planet I wouldn't be ashamed of enjoying it. But a lot of people seem to hate Behind Blue Eyes by Limp Bizkit, but I love it, it's better than the original.

Digging the soundtrack for Sinbad Legend of the Seven Seas :) Not ashamed of it... but I won't drive around town blasting it with the windows down either :D

i just watched some of my old Prozzak vids on my hard drive. i think liking the vids is worse than the music, but i'm ashamed of liking neither.

I think they would've been fine and more accepted if they didn't do those videos. Honestly, that first album was a VERY well done consciously pop album.

but then they had to bust out those ultra cheesy videos and that horrid second album. BE AS WHITE AS YOU WANT TO. BE AS BLACK AS YOU WANT TO. YOU CAN WAIT IF YOU WANT TO DON'T LET ANYBODY STOP YOU.

I like The Atari's cover of Boys of Summer, only because I hate Don Henley, and musical spite is a beautiful thing.

Also, yes, Prozzak is in my iTunes library. It's just so innocent, you can't hate it.

Billy Joel - Scenes from an Italian Restaurant

Not really ashamed, but I wouldn't exactly be blaring it when my friends are over.

I liked N*Sync one summer when I was younger. I learned the dance moves to one of their videos with my friend and everything.

Actually, I'm not too ashamed. I'm glad that was a fad though.

i choose you Ben Folds!

ugh. i can't believe i enjoy listening to a heterosexual billy joel with less talent. wait, what?

i'm sorry, homosexual.

Ben Folds is awesome and I am not ashamed to enjoy him at all!

I do, however, feel a tinge of guilt admitting that Backstreet Boys' I Want it That Way and Drowning are two of my karaoke regulars.

I love the Josie & the PussyCats soundtrack. A lot.

Fun game: listen to Three Small Words off the Josie & The Pussycats soundtrack, then download Another World by Japanese artist Gackt, then marvel at the fact Gackt's song came out six months later, ISN'T a cover, and he didn't get sued.

Just played the game. Holy Crap.

I don't know what I'm more suprised by though. The fact that the song is so damn similar, or the fact that one of the 113 users on my college's file-sharing service actually had it.

Well, Gackt IS totally dreamy.

That's really terrifying, tho? I dunno which would be scarier - that it's just a coincidence, or that one of Japan's biggest solo pop stars steals his music from the Josie and the Pussycats soundtrack.

James Horner's score is marvellous but I thought the Celine Dion song was a bit of an afterthought.

And while I'm not ashamed to admit this it may stir a few people. William Shatner's 'Transformed Man' is a masterpiece.

Yep, he's the basis of alot of recent FF character designs (Squall being the most glaring as they even used one of Gackts outfits).
:lol :lol He looks like he's CG.

Yeah I like Joy Enriquez - Tell me how you feel
Such a teeny bopper song.

Not to shut it down, but I officially win the thread. For you see, back when I was 12 or 13 (so 8 - 9 years ago), I really enjoyed Ace Of Base music. :lol.

His score is undoubtedly nothing short of amazing... Southampton is one of the greatest pieces of music evar. Anyway, I seem to have a thing for Movie Themes which are deemed to be 'Cheesy' by most. " There you'll be" being another example

yeah, I saw Titanic opening night; went out the next Saturday and bought the score, I liked it so much (I am a film score buff, but...) I still think My Heart Will Go On isn't too bad ... just overexposed ... though I do hate it more now that I'm in Japan as it's the Only English Song a lot of Japanese people know outside of Beatles and Carpenters...

Here's a few for ya.

Pretty much anything from Michael Jackson's late 70's-early 90's albums
Hall and Oates -Kiss is on My List/Maneater/Out of Touch
most Journey songs
Ratt - Round and Round and other 80s hair-band crap(Butt rock!)
Michael Sembello - Maniac
Buckner & Garcia - Pacman Fever(Yes, I actually like the song :p)
The Curly Shuffle(Nyuck nyuck nyuck!)
Styx(Sometimes...)
Ace of Base(Though they all sound the same, they all sound good)
A lot of Motown/Disco crap like KC & The Sunshine Gang
Paula Abdul
Phil Collins(Anything. I don't care what anybody says, this guy is the MAN)
A whole lot of early 80s pop crap with a synth beat to it(Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Devo, Baltimora, Laura Branigan, New Order, Bananarama, etc.)
Madonna
Old-school rap(The Humpty Dance, Baby Got Back, Can't Touch This, Miami, Ice Ice Baby, etc.)

Actually I'm not embarassed to listen to any of it, but I can see a lot of artists on the list who are perceived as being 'un-cool'.

Oh, and I have a glaring weakness for the "Transformers: The Movie" Soundtrack.

Funnily enough, sometimes I play it at work and a customer will walk by and say "Whoa, that sounds pretty cool. What artist is this?"

:lol

The only thing that's kept me from purchasing Def Leppard's Hysteria is the embarrassed look I would have to exchange with the cashier at my local record store as I handed the disc to her.

Dude, I am 24, and I still love Ace Of Base. It started when The Sign came out when I was 13. I play their albums regularly.

SO FUDGE YA
