Often times, there are websites and programs that would crash on my PC. I can navigate them, but it's all a mess. I thought maybe my graphics driver needed to be updated, but that didn't solve a thing. In fact, now I can't even use programs like LimeWire. All I see is a big blank and ocassionally messy visuals. Then I thought Java would be the issue here...so I downloaded the latest version and still...nothing! This is driving me nuts, because there's a number of sites and applications that are completely unusable. Can anyone help?

Id do a format, and fresh install.

You could try downloading adaware, and AVG, and Spyware blaster. Do full system scans and se if it helps.

But this seems more like a graphics issue. Like I'm missing a certain application that would allow me to run certain scripts.

check your virtual memory, maybe it is too small, set it to auto and see what happens. I know this can cause the problems you are describing.

I have a problem too, but its with GAF...

certain threads will make my computer freeze. I have no way of knowing which threads it will be until I open the thread and it loads halfway.

and this ONLY happens here on GAF, and ONLY in certain threads. Any ideas on what is causing this problem and/or how to fix it?

Virtual memory was fine 1.5x of standard RAM size. I uninstalled my graphics drivers flat out. Reverted back to nothing, ran visuals off the processor, reinstalled everything and re-updated and now it's all good. =)
