retro donkey kong is still a huge surprise as we have literally no clue how that game is going to play. it's just a character and a few series thematic staples like bananas that we have to go off, the rest could be anything.

Yeah, but since DKC the main games were platforming. I wonder which direction will they take. Retro is very Sci-fi oriented, so I don't see them working with that series. They would maybe be more confortable with Star Fox.

This is a really cool remix of the Termina field theme in MM. I love it, both foreboding and hopeful. It reminds of the mood surrounding this game in fact.
