I'm just wondering where the age 30 thing came from. It's not like that's a feat even if you're not ace. Hell, they made a movie about a 40 year old virgin. Should have made it age 60 at the least.

If you're still depressed, I know you won't listen, but I will still say it, you know that you are very lucky to be male.
You don't have to fight your biological clock and can have children without any health issue during all your thirties!
Your potential child would be in his 20s when you'll be in your 50s, but I don't see what so wrong about it. You are still pretty young and it's great to have children when you finally have overcome all your personal issues.
Try to work with the shitty hands you were given and stop beating yourself over it.

Anyone who goes that long without experiencing sex I salute your inner strength. There is more to life than sex, but dealing with the insecurities that society's expectations puts on you cant be easy. I do think that unless it is a choice, you shouldn't feel like it isn't possible for you and you would be surprised at how easy it can be with a little effort and optimism.

I only joined GAF because I was linked to the online dating thread here from another forum. I learned about OK Cupid from that thread and joined up. Had no joy here in London, but met up with a girl in LA when I stopped over who messaged me back when I put out a broadcast message about being in LA and looking for somewhere good to eat.

I am 24 and still technically a virgin. I think so, at least. I actually had sexual (hetero and lesb) experiences, but not... actual sex. So yeah. To be honest, it doesn't bother me much. Being a virgin is just another consequence of being depressed for most of my life. For reasons I don't want to share publicly, I will never be comfortable with my body/appearance (no, I am not ugly, but...), so I don't think I will ever have sex and enjoy it. Plus, unless I am in a relationship, I wouldn't want to have sex with someone and the last thing I want in my life, at the moment, is a romantic relationship.

At least with Newton, it's impossible to verify 100%, but it's pretty widely accepted to be the case as he was a major recluse and never married.
Not sure about Michelangelo though.
