No, Disco Stu is right. Even I can't believe what Jinx wrote in that Serafitia thread.

Not only did that post smack of affectation, he had the gall to end it with a glib 'Yeah, I'm thinking about leaving' ... thereby turning a discussion about Serafitia into a discussion about himself (at least for a while). The latter I can forgive, though.

There's no question that he's a very valuable poster. He's worth more than the totality of Mina-Age, for instance - and most of this board, too (given what I've seen so far). But if I were to make one suggestion, I'd say the Christ-like image has got to go.

Be more honest, Jinx. Admit that, in the end, you don't give a fuck about Serafitia. Go on. It'll be cathartic.

Sera stole this girl's identity (stealing her pictures and some information, crafting an entire identity around them), whomever Sera actually is, and promptly left after being exposed. Jinx threatened to leave because he blames the forum for making female posters do these kind of things.

1) I made a subsequent post clarifying my position, since I was not "blaming" the forum for Serafitia's personal choices. I was making an observation that I can almost understand why someone would pretend to be other than who they are because of the attitude on this board. Come to think of it, it isn't restricted to just women, either.

2) I didn't lock the thread, and didn't think it needed to be locked. However, I will respect the decision of the person responsible until he feels like changing it.
