Which PSP games are you excited about?

never gonna happen. streaming would drain the battery too fast :(

In work. That's the reason of the Mobius Entertainment (now Rockstar Leeds) buyout. Don't think it's going to be as great as the console versions, though.

Darkstalkers Chronicle, the reason i'm buying the machine at launch.

EDIT: And if KOEI can clean it up after those disspointing shots, Dynasty Warriors.

If Sony/Rockstar were smart, they'd just hold off on GTA PSP untill battery technology advances enough to make a PS2 level streaming 3D GTA possible on the platform. It'd probably be better served waiting until the next GB's ready to release as well (late 2006/2007?), giving PSP a nice killer app to steal some thunder.

They could always to a GTA collection of the 2D games (GTA1+2+London) in the meantime though.

I included that WRC shot this time :)

Yeah, but what's the deal with the WRC? Are you comparing them? Is that a PSP game (doubtful due to aspect ratio)? PS2? I have no idea.

Looking at the WRC screenshots, it seems that the PSP copes with procedurally generated landscapes admirably. :)

Ever since Plant Moon stated they were making a PSP game I've been interested in the portable (Giants plus Armed & Dangerous rocked!). Launch games I will probably be buying:

Dynasty Warriors
Ridge Racers
Lumines
Metal Gear Ac!d

After Armed & Dangerous bombed it looks like Planet Moon has gone PSP exclusive! Which is good and bad. I'd prefer to see them making PC games, but I'm just happy they are still making games even if it is for the PSP.

Some more info here:

No new info on their website either but if you want to view it here is the address:

www.planetmoon.com

Their website is worth a look just for the history section alone! :lol

Whoa, Planet Moon is on PSP? Now THAT'S good news!
Yeah, can't believe you missed that news. They've been quite vocal about the PSP support when they decided to go with it. Their PSP game is named 'Infected' but little is known about it.

Those cars didnt exist until WRC4 and this is deffinitely does not look as good as WRC4.

I'm doing everything in my power to stop myself from picking up a PSP right now (I've already dropped on $450 on the DS in the past couple weeks), but all of the following have me weak-knee'd:

Mercury
Ape Escape P
Piposaru Academia
Talkman
Lumines

and you know what? I'll say it -- Death Jr.

Only Ridge Racers, HSG, Darkstalkers, and Y's 6. The only few I know about...that new Tales game may be neat.

I haven't been paying any attention to the release lists, so all these names being flung around are so foreign to me. What the hell is Makai Wars for instance?

Ridge Racers is just pure sex to my eyes. Can't wait to put my hands on that thing. It'll be the first Ridge Racer that I'll own. :)

Then there is/are the Tales of game/s I'll get for sure if they get released in the US.

Of course I'll have to get Advent Shadow, as the whole Advent something franchise is very interesting to me.

I wonder if Microsoft and THQ find an agreement to bring MGS games to PSP like they did on the GBA. As Microsoft has no interests (yet) in producing its own handheld device this could be a good place to gain revenue. Just immagine a Halo on the PSP. Or an amped. PURE SEX.

Makai Wars is a SRPG by Nippon Ichi.

That would be very nice, but somehow I don't think it's gonna happen. GBA is in entirely different class. PSP Halo game would actually play like Halo on Xbox, and look like a normal 3D FPS, and it would maybe cut into sales of Xbox hardware, and MS doesn't want that. On the other hand, if they ever make some Halo spinoff for handhelds, Bungie most certainly won't be making it, and in that case who cares about that.

I will say though, Bach said in one interview at E3 that he wants to see Halo games and Halo world on every gaming device that has buttons and screen.

Is this Wipeout Pure? If so games wanted + 1. :)

As of right now my list would be:
Armored Core
Ridge Racer
Lumines
Ys VI
MG Ac!d
FF7: Crisis Core
Hot Shots Golf

I'm also going to check out any potentially good RPGs that are coming out. Can't wait for this bad boy. :)

Makkai Wars is the only game I'm buying the PSP for. I don't even know what else is coming out for it. (Though I know more titles by looking through this thread)

Monster Rancher PSP.......combines the first 2 with a few updates and allows you to sue UMDs are any kind of data stored on your MS to generate monsters.
