And for the record (dunno why I'm even feeling defensive here...). I went to an International school for 8 years while growing up in NY (U.N.I.S.). I've had women (not 'had' at that age, but you get the gist) from all around the world. I'm very 'cultured'.

I'm sure if a study were done, there would be significantly more physical feature differences found between white people than black people. Everyone thinks their own 'race' is special, but just go outside and walk around....how many different colors of hair do you see black people with? How many different hair styles do you see black guys with? How many different eye colors do you see black people with? What about skin tone difference?

There's simply more physical feature variance, particularly color related, between white people than there is between black people. If you're black and all white people look alike, you need to get out more. Same for da crackas.

I think it's easier to tell white people apart just because of the variety within the race.
Red, Blonde, Brown, and Black hair.
Blue, Green, and Brown eyes.
Pale to Tan skin.

More variety.

Just as much variety among other "races," even moreso in blacks than whites. Whites are the most homogenous race there is. Sadly, the degree of homogeneity found amongst whites can be attributed to cultural and religious tradition that stems from deep-seated bigotry. Granted, there is something to be said about the geographical isolation of the various races, however that does not explain the relative lack of genetic variance on the macro-level for whites now.

Well here's the kicker I look NOTHING like that clown. The only simalities that we have is that I'm Black. I've found that you can tell the last movie a white person saw based on who they thing you look like.

Two weeks ago in an Airplane another White guy leaned over to me and says "You look just like a young Denzel Washingtion." Again I look at him and smile and again this is another guy who I look nothing like.

In the past two weeks I've been told I look like everyone from Chris Rock to Eddie Murphy to Dominque Wilkins to Denzel Washington. I look like none of them. Anyone else have this event happen to them?

I didn't "speak of" any differences in physiognomy (specifically). I was referencing things like hair color, hair type (curly, straight, frazzled, matted), wide range of skin tones, etc. Things that make differentiation easier and more immediate.

Actually to get serious for a moment. It not that whites have the largest facial diversity because they don't. It's just that western culture is more sensitive to differences in white faces because those are the faces we get the most exposure to.

Well this thread is about to take a real swing. I really don't see the allure of white women myself. I mean I find them attractive (physical superceedes race) and I think they are cool people in general but, dating one/have a REAL relationship that is a bit out of my league. I don't even know how to releate to white women real life outside of a professional/acedemic environment. I mean what would we talk about? What do we have in common? I listen to them talk and I'm like "I really have no way to relate to you."

Strange, because I'm attracted to women with dark hair and/or skin color. Blonde white women do nothing for me for the most part.

And I can tell people apart as well. I grew up in a mainly hispanic area of SoCal that had more black people than white people by the time I hit Middle School. Actually, I probably have a harder time differentiating from other white people.
