Nintendo long hoped for this to be the ultimate system seller

I just want to see if its having any effect

if you know anyone else who is buying a GC tell us too

I already own one but I've been considering buying another because the platinum is teh sex.
I burned out on the RE series after #2 but the new one looks pretty good and is far and away different from the others. Its pushing me ever closer to buying a platinum Cube,so yeah I'd say odds are the game will make me buy a Cube, again.

.

I just got one for Xmas. Circuit City had that 99 dollar deal (w/ 2 controllers, Mario Kart and other accessories). Throw in Super Monkey Ball, Zelda: Windwaker for an extra 30 bucks ... and thats a great deal.

But, I bought mine in anticipation for the new Zelda coming out this year.

Can I include the anonymous twenty-something with a trendy haircut and a look of shame on his face as he picked up a GC and the RE4 reserve demo that I saw at Gamestop this week?

When gamers are swallowing pride to get in on this title, that's something special. But I don't expect huge numbers of converts.

I sold mine about 6 months ago. I'll buy another one when Zelda comes out, and get P2, PM2, Starfox and all the other great games i will have missed then. I'll play RE4 at some friends GC.

What is P2 ?

If I didn't have one already I'd probably not buy a GC for RE4. Feels a little useless when it's coming for PS2 later this year -- with extras.

However I do recommend a Cube. It has some great games and to have the whole RE collection for it feels great :)

I am selling my GC and buying a PS2, I herd rampant speculation that the PS2 has TEH exclusives and the CG game is “half a game”.

I don’t want to play the watered down GC version!

Rampant Speculation is good enough for me!

I bought my GC a year ago, knowing that eventually I would be playing RE4. The thing's been sitting in my closet ever since I beat PM2 in Oct. Ironically I now am broke and can't even buy RE4 on Tues. :(

You can always sell the GC and buy another version of the game with that money later on :D

I'll be buying one now. I used to own a cube, but I never played it so I sold it. But this is a must-have for me. I figure I'm going to try to track down a Metroid bundle and then snap up a reserve for RE4 the same day. Then I'll have it for MP (never finished), MP2, and RE4.

For people who are buying a GC for this game, buy the GC and the game at Best Buy. You get a free $20 gift card when you purchase both this week. That basically means a free game...Zelda Windwaker or any other player's choice game :)

I have just hyped one person about it, and as soon as he's gonna play it he'll buy one and import RE4, that's for sure. He bought an XBOX just for Ninja Gaiden.

I can honestly say that RE4 and perhaps REmake are the ONLY games I'm interested in on the Gamecube. I am tempted to purchase a Gamecube so I can play RE4 right away but I'll probably just hold out for the PS2 version.

I'm considering it. I'm actually having difficulty choosing between a Cube and an Xbox.

For the price of an Xbox, I can get a GC and RE4. Not to mention GC has more exclusive titles that I want.
