RE4 will be in stores tomorrow?
correct. Actually, many stores already have it. Tomorrow is the day they can start selling them

Wait, so how long should this game take me to beat.

Im leaving at the end of the month for a long time, so Im debating rental or purchase (rental if I can beat it in the two weeks I dont have school)

Probably 10 days of thirty minute intervals.

Is it true that in North America you can't do a hardware bundle with an M-rated game?

I think a Resident Evil 4 GameCube bundle would kick ass otherwise, maybe with some other bonuses for RE fans.

I work at the electronics department of a local department store, should I call and ask one of my beautiful female co-workers?

I just ordered RE4 from outpost.com for $38. Looks like i'll be picking up a gamecube tomorrow from ebgames. hopefully that $59 for a refurb is in store as well.

The Resident Evil series going to Gamecube was one ofthe major factors in me getting one (mostly REmake and RE0). Was kind of hoping Konami, Sega and co. would follow suit and release some a decent line of exclusives in repsonse... never really materialised though.

Bit annoyed that I could have just stuck with my PS2 and played RE4 later on and borrowed a Gamecube off a friend for REmake (lost my patience with RE0).

So you're saying that nothing else on Gamecube interested you?

I bought a GameCube for Resident Evil 4 on November 18th, 2001. :) Honestly, I'm so glad that I did, because I've got in on so many must have games along the way.

Same here. The ride has been awesome, and the time is at hand. One more day my friend. One more day.

I am buying a GameCube for Resident Evil 4 and the other Nintendo games. It will go along good with my PS2 and X-box. And I can get the version with the best graphics. And when I buy the GameCube that will keep me happy and I don't have to move up to next gen anytime soon. I refuse to pay $10 more on games next gen.

I already have a GC, but I'm not getting RE4.
I'll wait for a pricedrop and play all the other games I have instead.

I'm not the biggest fan of Nintendo's own stuff. The further they've come since the early days of the N64 the more distaste I've got. Mario Sunshine had its moments, but it was no Mario 64.

There's been some nice suprises on the way though. Monkey Ball, Winning Eleven 6 Final Evo, Phantasy Star Episode I&II and Sol Calibur 2. They've by far my most played games. Obivously not all are still exclusives anymore.

Kinda dissapointed the spiritual succesor to No Mercy never came to be. I suppose that was wishful thinking on my behalf. Shame really-Nintendo really could've used something like that.

Owned a GC since a few weeks after launch... If I didn't already have one at the time it came out, REmake would've been a system seller for me. RE4, well, duh!

I'm considering it. I'm actually having difficulty choosing between a Cube and an Xbox.

For the price of an Xbox, I can get a GC and RE4. Not to mention GC has more exclusive titles that I want.

I think you just answered your own question there.

Well I already own a GC. But when I went to pick up RE4 yesterday at 4PM at ebgames, the sales lady told me that they had already sold two (used) GC's to people who just wanted to play RE4. This is in a rural area too. Since they're used they wont show up on sales charts.

Sounds like you want an Xbox to me.

Why on God's green earth am I going to plunk down like $150 for a single game? That's just short of me upgrading my PC for HL2. It simply isn't going to happen because it doesn't make sense. I'm just going to wind up hating the controller and the control scheme that's somehow been mangled onto the GC controller which I hate for anything except Smash Bros, and even then I'm not cracked about it.

Besides, if I bought a GC now and for a single game, that'd make Nintendo the winner and if that happened all my hard work and the work of others trying to smack Nintendo out of their weird haze of thinking they're still #1 will be wasted. Trust me all you fanboys will thank us later. So I'll sit and wait for the PS2 version thanks. I'll just play PoP, Third Age and Halo 2 Multi in the mean time.

For anybody who is picking up a Cube and RE4 this week go to Best Buy because you get $20 off if you buy both.

You own a PS2?

Nothing to worry about

PoP is far from the ghetto, I suppose I should've been more specific. I'm re playing the original, since I'd beaten a borrowed copy on an Xbox that wasn't mine. Even so Warrior Within has been pretty decent, not as good as the original, but few sequels are.

Secondly, if you consider Halo 2 to be anywhere near the ghetto I'm pretty sure Master Chief and his home boys are hopping into their Warthog to come on out and deliver a vicious Bungie style drive by.

And as for Third Age, I won't go out on a limb to defend it. But the truth is I love LotR like few other things, and I truly love most RPGs that actually take turns, not some timed or full movement 3D battle stuff.
