Who owns all three consoles?

I also own all three , Im not sure which is my fave....Ps2 has countless great games awesome Rpg's and 2d fighters...Xbox is my sports game console the games look terrific on itand 480p standard is pretty nice too...Gc is great becasue it has that Nintendo magic I know "they aren't the same" blah blah blah, but games like Mario Kart , Zelda the Metroid series I mean they have something I can't quite nail what IT is but the system just has it....

All three. GC gets played most, then PS2, then Xbox, which is in that pile of dust somewhere. (I don't like FPS games or army stuff, I don't know why I bought it)

I own all three consoles, plus a DS. I will probably get a PSP in the near future, but i'm waiting for any pricedrops or stuff like that.

I have like 20 GC games, 8 ps2 games and 4 xbox games.

I own all 3. Xbox gets the most use, although I have been playing my ps2 more lately (lots of good releases recently). I haven't touched my GC in ages (trying to sell it at the moment).

I have all three as well. PS2 gets the most playtime solely because of Winning Eleven 8... Xbox and GC gets small amount of playtime. As for games, I haven't really counted..

lachesis

Atari 2600, Genesis, Saturn, A/V Famicom, FDS, Twin Famicom, Dr. PC Jr., NES, N64, SNES, GameCube, TurboGrafx 16, TurboGrafx CD-ROM (w/ SuperCD card), Dreamcast, PS2, Xbox, Wonderswan, SwanCrystal, TurboExpress, Lynx, Nomad, GameGear, GP32, GB, GB Pocket, GBC, GBA, GBA SP, DS, PSP

Heaven help me.

I sold my SNES, Genesis with Sega CD, and Turbo Grafx 16 for a PS1 a sad day. T.T
Do not sell your system you will regret it later.
I own
Saturn
Dreamcast
Gamecube
PS2
X-box

The only justifications for not owning all 3 consoles is time or money. Really, there are enough games on each system to keep the most die hard gamer a happy gamer.

I own GC and Xbox, but would love a PS2... just don't have enough time to justify buying another console. Already backlogged as it is.

PS2's(US+JP) - 21 games
Panasonic Q - 30 games
Xbox - 23 games

gamecube was dominating till i picked up a bunch of stuff i wanted for xbox/ps2 on the cheap. cube will be 31 when i buy Cubivore off a friend for 30 bucks on saturday. WOOHOO!

i only got around 5-10 games for each console. i dont really play them that much no more besides multiplayer halo2 w/ my friends. all i need is counter. fuck my consoles lolz

Not liking the games on a console is a pretty good reason for not getting one. I will be only a 2 console owner next gen (unless there are some major changes in a certain company), and it won't be because of time or money.

bullshit. 900 games on PS2, 650 on Xbox, 500 on GC. There's more than enough games on any one console to satisfy the pickiest of gamers. Anyone that refuses to buy a console based on games really just has pent up bias issues.

Games are not a reason.

All FOUR current-gen consoles *sobs for Dreamcast*. Usually only have a couple of consoles hooked up at any one time. GC is getting most of the playtime at the moment but I hardly touched at the end of 2004, PS2 vice-versa. Haven't switched the PS2 on more than a couple of times since I got bored of GTA:SA at the end of '04. I feel a bit of guilt and greed owning so much hardware and want to get rid of at least one of the machines. But, there are good reasons to keep them all. :P

OMG I agree with Jedimike *faints*

I've got all three. Don't have a favorite...just depends on what games are out for which system I spend more time with. For the last few months it's been all Sony with the PS2 and PSP. My Xbox sits neglected with several games waiting to be played on XBL. GC got play time with Resident Evil 4, which rocks, but after beating it three times its back to collecting dust once again.

PREACH IT BRUDDAH!!! :D

I have all 3.

Xbox for Xbox Live
Gamecube for all the exclusives
PS2 for... MGS3?

PS2 is by far the one I play the least; whenever a game comes out that interests me, it's usually available for Xbox or GCN also, so i'll pick it up for that. There are a few exceptions of course warranting my PS2 purchase (Tekken, MGS3)

I also own a DS, but barely play it due to lack of any really good software.. and will have a PSP next week.

FOURTH GENERAL OF THE WHITE LION KNIGHTS OF WIEGRAF
FAV GAMES: TETRIS FINAL FANTASY SEVEN (YEAH!)
CURRENTLY PLAYING: BATEN KAITOS METROID PRIME 2

:lol

I have all three.

All three and a bitchin PC.

I own about 20 PC games, 20 PS2 games, 20 GC games, and 5 Xbox games. In fairness, I didn't own an xbox until last year.

It should be noted that 20 PC games has more gameplay than all 45 consoles games combined. For me at least.

I own GC and PS2, no XBox yet. But I'm thinking about it. I played Ninja Gaiden for the first time the other day, it's so awesome. Probably have about 30 PS2 games and 20 GC.

I agree 100% with this.

And you don't own Resident Evil 4 why?

But out of those 650 games on the Xbox, how many are RPGs? More specifically, Japanese RPGs? The Xbox is definitely not a wise choice for RPG fans. Which is why I'm preparing to sell mine... just doesn't get used - no pent-up bias issues whatsoever, it just doesn't have enough games that interest me. I also own a PS2, Gamecube w/GB Player and Dreamcast with a huge collection of games for each. Plus a ton of retro systems and games. I do own about 10 - 15 games for the Xbox, but besides the Sega exclusives, there's very little to justify me keeping it. :)

Well, I don't know. If you had 2 out of the 3 consoles, you could, save a handful of exclusives, find a replacement game of similar genre or style on one of the other consoles, especially now that so many developers make games for multiple systems. I have all three and for the longest time I didn't have an Xbox because I didn't really feel the need to get one. Eventually I got one so I could stream movies and my music to my living room from my computer, but I don't really have that many games for it. I only have Panzer Dragoon Orta, Halo and Steel Battalion right now, but I definitely plan on getting Ninja Gaiden at some point.

If someone hated FPS's for example, I could see them not getting an Xbox, because alot of the strongest games in that system's library are of that genre, and other systems serve other genres better than the Xbox.

Games not the reason?! If a person does not like the typical exclusive available to a system, why should they buy it?

And that's exactly why I don't have an Xbox. When Xbox has little to nothing of what I purchase, and if I want to play an FPS, I'll play my PC (which I haven't even installed any onto my computer, they got bleh). And I am happy with what I have. So why spend however much an Xbox costs to play nothing on it?

Look at my collection again, http://users.ign.com/collection/RedScarlet. Not much that matches with my stuff on the Xbox.

Thats THE reason not to own a system. If you are a multiconsole gamer it's due to one thing. EXCLUSIVE TITLES.

Is it possible that someone doesn't own say a GC because they don't liek the direction Nintendo has taken with it's exclusive titles? I'd think so.

I own 2 US DCs, 1 US PS2, 2 US Xboxes, 1 GameCube, 1 GBA, 1 GBA SP, and 1 NDS for the current generation. I play the 'Cube the most by far, though the Xbox is catching up a lot due to hours of online SFAC.

As for classic shit, I've got NES, Genesis, SNES, TG-16, Atari Jaguar, Panasonic 3DO, 2 PS1s, N64, Sega Saturn, Game Gear, Nomad, Neo-Geo Pocket, Neo-Geo Pocket Color, an original GB, a GBP, a GBC, Atari Lynx Model 2, Turbo Express, a Commodore 64, an Intellivision Model 2, and an Atari 2600.

I don't even want to think about how much money I've spent on this stuff. :lol

yes i own all 3. gamecube gets the most love followed by the xbox, and coming in last is ps2. if katamari 2 and wanda weren't coming out i doubt i would do anything with it but play dvd's.

gamecube-18
xbox-9
ps2-22

pretty slow this generation.

You're missing the context... there are lots of reasons to pick one console over the other. Game selection is a valid reason. But saying you refuse to buy a console because it doesn't have any good games is bullshit.

If you don't buy a GC because you don't agree with Nintendo's policies...cool. That's a bias and we all got them. But don't say I won't buy a GC because it has no games I like. Out of 500 games, I'm sure you could find 100 or more games that you like. It's more a matter of which console has the most games that suit your tastes.

PS2, XB, and GC all have great games that any true gamer would be satisfied playing. That's all.

I have three PS2s, two Gamecubes and two Xboxen.

One of my PS2s and one of my Xboxen are not fully functional anymore :(

My library consists of 80 PS2 games, 40 Xbox games, and 13 Gamecube games.

All 3 here, plus got a DS for my daughter, getting a PSP next week, preordering an XBOX 360 (still hate that name) ASAP, and plan on getting a PS3 and Revolution too :D

I did, but then I sold my Gamecube as I realized I don't need three damn consoles, PC gaming, and an upcoming portable. RE4 was fun while it lasted though.

I tell myself I'm only going to buy Xbox 360 next gen but I know I'll buy a PS3 as well.

All 3, I also have: NES, SNES, N64, GBC (Brother's), GBA, DS, Game Gear (Brother's), Genesis, Turbo Duo, Saturn, Dreamcast, and PSX. I need a Master System and maybe a Sega CD.

I play PS2 most of all but lately I've been playing Baten Kaitos on Cube. I also play quite a bit of Xbox since it's still pretty new for me. When my friends come over we usually break out the Xbox and all the fighters.

At one time during this generation I've had 3 different Dreamcasts, 2 different Gamecubes, 2 Playstation 2's, and 2 different Xbox consoles. I don't have enough time for 3 consoles so all I have now is Xbox.

i've got a ps2 , xbox, an aus gc, us gc, a snes, a super famicom, megadrive, mega cd, saturn, dreamcast, game gear, master system, nes, gba sp and ds. i don't know why i purchased all of them, i went through a stupid 'collecting' phase :\

Damn this is one of the best posts I've seen on GAF in awhile and I still can't believe it was made by jedimike.

Okay....but if you don't like Nintendo games and don't like Resident Evil then why did you pick up a Gamecube?

I mean that would be like picking up an Xbox and not liking shooting games. :lol

And RE4 is like no other Resident Evil game. If you didn't like the series before it doesn't mean you won't like RE4. Go out and rent the game if you don't believe me. And that goes for everyone because I know a lot of people who were turned off by past Resident Evil games and they wouldn't get RE4 but then I let them play it and they were hooked.

Its by far one of the greatest games this generation. I was never a big fan of Resident Evil but I love RE4 to death. I just can't stop playing the thing. I've beaten it a few times and have unlocked basically everything and I still keep going back for more. I haven't liked a game like this on the PS2, Cube, or Xbox in ages.

And if anybody is looking to pick up Resident Evil 4 its only $39.99 at Target this week!

I own a Dreamcast, PS2, GC, XBox, GBA SP, and Nintendo DS from this past generation.

Will be adding a PSP in a week.

I just rebought an N64 from EB today for $10 to play some Star Fox 64 (control is buttah).

I own all 3. PS2 has been getting the most play lately thanks to SO 3, YS and SH: C but the Gamecube gets regular play thanks to DK: JB and my Xbox is still new so my collection is growing. I am thouroughly addicted to Phantom Dust though.

I bought it because I'm a sucker for new systems (I bought a DS when it came out). I'll check out RE4 when it hits ps2.
