Lol the obessession with Sasuke from both Naruto and Sakura kishimoto wrote is so stupid hurts to think about it .

I liked Sakura as a character even if she was annoying, it added to the story but hated her role whenever it concerned Sasuke.

Did I want Naruto and Sakura to happen? Hell no. That's a terrible relationship. Also to the OP saying minato and kushina is like Naruto and Sakura I disagree.that relationship It's more like Hinata and Naruto ( Naruto being the hot blooded kushina, while Hinata is the calmer, nice minato. ) lulzz

While I was happy with the end game, I do agree about how much the author dropped the ball on building the relationship between Hinata and Naruto and just dumped it on the movie :/

I wonder if Sasuke and Sakura basically just had a one night stand or something at one point.

Never really seemed like Sasuke stayed in the village much after the final battle.

I liked the theory of IVF or arrangement. Sasuke's and Karin's DNA got mishmashed and planted into Sakura's belly for her to birth, and Sakura said she'd only do so if married. It would explain some of the coldness he has for her.

Kishimoto kind of put a damper on it during Boruto Gaiden, but I don't think the resolution there rules it out.

The reality is that Sakura's delusional obsession with Sasuke has no basis in fact or reality of their relationship, whereas it kind of did with Naruto and Sasuke who had a lot of similarities in their upbringings and development. Naruto's desire to bring his friend back because he empathizes with his situation makes way more sense than Sakura's apparently similar sentiment, which was based entirely on thinking he was sexy (which everyone did).

I mean, you can justify it in that they don't interact so its technically possible since they don't have an actively antagonistic relationship.

Crack pairings have a tendency to pair spares with each other to try and make the main slashfic seem more plausible.

Naruto landed his best ending with Hinata. Naruto/Sakura would've been less-good for Naruto (not bad, I don't think), but MUCH better for Sakura. I think Naruto/Sakura would've been a way to elevate the ending as a whole. Naruto/Hinata is the way to salvage something worthwhile out of the dumpster fire that is Naruto's ending.

I enjoyed some moments of Naruto but it peaked at the exams easily. Or maybe I was just young and dumb.

The anime is hot garbage compared to the manga tho. The fight with pain in the manga is really awesome but in the anime...eugh.

Naruto ends before the epilogue for me, and ships didn't even matter to me, Kishimoto stopped developing them and toss them as some out of camera stuff long ago it seems.
