Can You Imagine What SureAI Is Going To Do With Garfield?
Right now I am livid.
Long story short I lost buspirone I had and to get a new refill. First time it ever happened to me.
After finally getting a hold of my psychiatrist, she did me a one time favor of getting me a refill now.
So the practice called the pharmacy but left a voicemail that the pharmacy never checked. After more chasing people around on the phone, my psychiatrist receptionist got a hold of the pharmacy. The pharmacy told me my meds would be ready by 2pm.
I get there at 1:40pm and wait until 2pm when the pharmacy comes back from lunch.
My meds are not ready and on top they tell me I have to pay $4. Nobody told me I had to pay for this. For those who don't know, I'm going through a bad time and literally have $1.32 in my bank.
I had to go back home and borrow money from a neighbor to pay for my meds.... All this in 115 degree heat - no exaggeration.
After coming back to the pharmacy, I still had to wait until 2:45pm to get the meds.
This is just one recent example as of today. But it seems everytime I deal with a business, organization, etc there is a ton of incompetence and it's been like this before Covid.
Whether it's this pharmacy, my dad's in-home hospice care forgetting to put in his orders for medication, Amazon delivering my dad's items to another state, people saying they're arriving in a half hour only to show up three hours later, etc.... and these are all issues that have happened in the past week or two.
But it's just like this constantly. And if you don't get on someone's ass or pester them, they'll blow it off.
I don't know if it's just people in Vegas (but the Amazon issue wasn't) or whatever.
Look, I know if I'm coming off as a "Karen" bur ffs it's just not an excuse to be so careless or neglectful and many of these things are actually important and tied to health.
I just wish people actually cared about doing their fucking job right nowadays.
